We chose the campsite due to its amenities (water/sewage connection on site) and were pleasantly surprised. Convincing sustainability concept (heating with solar, rainwater utilization, green electricity, revitalized water, still young planting with native bushes/trees), very clean and modern sanitary facilities, a separate warm-water dog shower, and a courteous operator couple made the stay very pleasant. Dog walking path directly at the site. Fresh bread delivery service, drinks, and ice cream sales on site, 20 minutes walk to the town center of Ottobeuren with many restaurants. Good starting point for hikes/cycling tours in the Unterallgäu, great view of the Ottobeuren basilica (including relaxing wooden benches). Right next to the site is an adventure golf course (which we did not test during the rainy week).
