Camping Osenbach

The campsite is beautifully located and the pitches are generous and close to nature (we were there with a tent). The sanitary facilities were always clean. Raphaël is a super friendly and warm host - everyone was very friendly and helpful overall - thank you for that! We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back and gladly recommend the site. On Saturday evening, flammkuchen was made - really delicious! There are beautiful hikes possible from the campsite and dogs are welcome as well. We were completely satisfied!

This campsite leaves an extremely mixed impression. Very beautiful and quietly located, one feels almost like standing in a forest. The reception area with dining options gives hope. The football field described by the ADAC in the center has actually disappeared (and has been relocated to the immediate vicinity), and now there is a bare area with somewhat awkwardly placed plant pots and a hut that serves as a library. Next to it is a playground that is on the edge of safety risks: swing equipment, a ping pong table, and a petanque court are deteriorating. The adjacent sanitary facilities also leave one perplexed. Some areas are inaccessible, unmarked, or in a dilapidated condition, while others are actually okay but carelessly implemented (the water does not drain in the showers) or there is a gross disparity between toilets (2) and showers and washing cabins (about 10). However, very cute and new-looking wooden huts for rent can be found. Overall, one gets the feeling that the management has not properly thought out the campsite concept or only implemented it very half-heartedly. Obvious renovation measures have been taken, but the innovations have not been properly maintained. What a shame! A really strange place with some advantages but also clear shortcomings. Only conditionally recommendable.
