Wonderful campsite. Very well maintained. Sanitary facilities are very clean. Super friendly staff. Pitches on 'terrace'. We had a great lake view.

Great Family Campsite
The family-run campsite is very nice and located in a wonderful bay at Lake Orta! We were able to enjoy two weeks in our tent as a five-member family - despite having a small child (2 years old). The staff is very friendly and capable, always helpful. The access to the lake, including a jetty and ra… More

Very good campsite
We spent 4 days at this site with the motorhome. Very nice pitches on the terraces with a great view of the lake and Sacro Monte. Sanitary facilities are adequate and spotlessly clean. However, there are still campers who have no idea about cleanliness and consideration. Always very friendly staff. … More

Almost everything was perfect!
We booked the caravan for two weeks. We were welcomed very friendly and the caravan was immediately pulled up to the top level with the tractor. The site is beautifully landscaped with the terraces, and you also have your peace, as long as the lower road and the upper train don’t disturb. The beach … More

Great Campsite
What started as two planned days has turned into a whole week. Super well-maintained sanitary facilities, lake easily accessible via tunnel. Clean water, would love to come back again.

Relaxing Spot by the Lake
2 plots, one directly by the lake, the other above the street. Very well maintained, plots by the lake are a bit cramped.

Pleasant atmosphere, great lake!
A beautifully laid out campsite that is very well located due to its direct access to the wonderful lake. There is nothing to complain about the sanitary facilities: they are clean, well-equipped, and designed in such a way that there are never any bottlenecks, even at full capacity. The terraces in… More

Surrounded by greenery and hills and only marginally touched by civilisation, the Orta campsite is a magical, unspoilt spot right on Lake Orta. Pure relaxation awaits nature lovers in comfortable rental accommodation and spacious pitches.
A green barrier of hills separates the natural idyll of Lake Orta from the much larger Lake Maggiore to the east. Nevertheless, it can be reached in just twenty minutes by car from Verbania. Its western shore is steep and untamed, while on the eastern shore, 1.5 km from the fairytale town of Orta San Giulio on a little-used coastal road, the Orta campsite welcomes families, nature lovers and individual travellers on a tree-shaded 3.5 hectare site directly on the lake. There are 80 pitches and 18 rental accommodations. The site is open from March to December and has a grocery shop, snack bar and restaurant. Children can have fun in the children's playground, but will also love the 10 metre long pebble beach with sunbathing area and bathing platform. There is a boat slip for launching your own boats into the water. Skippers can also use a jetty with moorings. Dogs are of course allowed. The public bus stops just 100 metres from the campsite. Guests can walk to Orta San Giulio and visit Piazza Mario Motta, which is surrounded by historic patrician houses. The Palazzo della Comunità is worth a visit for its murals. Boats regularly set sail for the picturesque Isola San Giulio, which is completely covered in old buildings. In the north of the lake near Omegna, the Alessi outlet shop offers designer kitchenware.
