Level terrain, the inland part of the campsite is located in a natural pine forest, while the area towards the sea is lined with deciduous trees and palms. Some pitches are partially gravelled. In a rural setting.
Approximately 250 m long and 60 m wide sandy beach.
In the vicinity of the campsites, there are several nightclubs. The loud music performances that take place here almost daily during the high season reportedly often continue well past midnight.

I was pleasantly surprised; during the 2 months that I was there, I was always treated as a guest. The staff was always nice, friendly, and helpful. When it was noticed that I have mobility issues, the gas cylinder was even delivered to me. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was guaranteed all day long. The age of the facilities is a different story. There is a backlog in renovations. The price-performance ratio is excellent in my view; however, the electricity at €0.70/kWh is too expensive. My conclusion: I will come back! This time already in October.

wonderful beach, many opportunities to walk with the dog, the stray dogs were not a problem for us, on the contrary.. Sanitary facilities old but clean, I wouldn't want to be there in summer, too hot and too loud.

Unfortunately, I cannot quite understand the good reviews. The really beautiful thing here is definitely the beach, clean and spacious, and not overcrowded. In the evenings, it is as loud as in Mallorca, partying until after midnight, with ancient sanitary facilities with broken tiles and damaged doors that sometimes cannot be closed, communal sinks in a row, and no local follows the so-called rules of the site. This place is not worth the long journey; not even the low price can change that. I cannot recommend this place.

The ladies at the reception speak perfect German, but are not particularly friendly or helpful. —> first impression! The site is very nicely laid out and well-kept, right by the sea. The sanitary facilities are totally outdated, partially dilapidated. The minimarket is very well stocked, and the prices are okay. The pizzeria on the site is very good. Indeed, there are some stray dogs roaming around the site; fortunately, they are not intrusive, making it bearable.

I really can't understand the good reviews. First of all, the positive... The place is really beautifully designed and shines with many flowers and a beautiful fountain. The pizza tastes incredible and is truly worth 5 stars. Also, all the staff are friendly and helpful. Now, for the negative: The sanitary facilities are so outdated that it's really a horror. You wouldn't want to use the toilet or take a shower there! The place is full of "stray dogs" that mess all over the beach. With our children, we didn't return to the beach. Maybe they pay more attention during the high season, but in October the beach was simply a disaster. The place has great potential, it's a pity that the sanitary facilities and the stray dogs devalue it so much. No recommendation from our side!

Beautiful grounds. No problem with large dogs. Adjacent pine forest is great for walking the dogs. However, there is litter everywhere. No problem with the dogs away from the main beach. Many wild dogs roaming around the campsite. Sanitary facilities are old but clean. September/October very crowded, only a few individual spots available. Adjacent restaurant open for lunch/dinner and serves very tasty dishes. Fishmonger and greengrocer come to the site several times a week. Small supermarket, but well stocked. Beach and pine forest accessible from the campsite.

Well-maintained, clean campsite with a nice playground (artificial grass) and direct access to the sea. We were able to choose a spot. Since we didn't have a mover, 4 nice campers helped us, which was absolutely no problem. The sanitary facilities were very clean and in good condition. The mini-market has everything you need, and a big supermarket is reachable within 5 minutes by car. There is even a separate washing machine for dog blankets. Dogs are not allowed on the main beach, but it was not a problem 50 meters further. The surrounding area was not very interesting.

Very nice campsite, located directly by the sea and sandy beach. Campsites for caravans and motorhomes are in the first few rows surrounded by oleander bushes. There is plenty of space for tents behind the pine trees, also shaded. It is said to be very crowded during the summer months of July and August, but in September it was "only" half full. The sanitation facilities offer everything one needs, only the water pressure could be better, but it is bearable as it is. The facilities are also cleaned at least once a day. In the pre- and post-season, it is certainly sufficient. A small supermarket that offers everything you need and a good restaurant are also available. The staff at the reception are very friendly and some speak German. Unfortunately, Calabria has not yet developed as much as Northern Italy regarding tourism. The edges of the streets are still marked by a lot of garbage, and hiking in the surrounding national parks is not necessarily enjoyable due to many stray dogs. All in all, a beautiful campsite; hopefully, the surrounding area will improve as well.
