The campsite is beautifully located at Omaha beach; unfortunately, upon arrival, we were assigned a larger mobile home than booked and when we unpacked and made the beds, we were asked to pack up again and move to a smaller mobile home on the grounds that a family with 4 children was coming. An employee then remarked that we should have noticed we were in the wrong mobile home. The family with the 4 children can't come all week, so the move with all the stress of packing everything back up was pointless and not customer-oriented. Otherwise, the campsite was very clean and has a great location.

We were here for the second time after 2018 and it is still a great place. Toilets and showers have been modernized and are now in good condition. The path to and from the beach is very steep and not suitable for people with walking and/or heart/circulatory problems. Once at the bottom, you can walk for kilometers along the beach. The 'battle tourists' can be easily avoided. The beach is also perfect for dogs. Anyone who ventures a little further is rewarded with a great sea view, although these spots are a bit windier. All in all, an absolute recommendation.

We were there for two nights in August. Quite a large area with rather small, hedge-separated pitches. Lots of leisure activities such as a covered swimming pool, beach volleyball, of course, pétanque, etc. The majority of guests were French families. Positive: Restaurant (okay), ordering baguettes, croissants, pain au chocolat for breakfast from the shop, great location above Omaha Beach as a starting point for D-Day tours, sanitary facilities clean and well-kept. Negative: Noisy, little consideration from the guests for each other (beach volleyball until 11 PM). Upon our arrival, we were informed that our assigned pitch was heavily worn from rain and the previous users and was actually closed. We were reimbursed for the electricity costs and were offered to view the pitch, or they would see if we could stand somewhere else. The pitch was indeed unusable (deep ruts), and no other regular pitch was available. After some back and forth, we ended up next to the beach volleyball court (a bit noisy in the evenings as mentioned, otherwise okay). The efforts were okay, but what we could not understand is how this can happen despite a reservation 4 months in advance. Conclusion: Conditionally recommendable.

The location right on the coast. Those who enjoy cycling will find it just perfect here, with great bike paths. But the beach is also quickly reachable on foot, and at low tide, it’s a must-see. Nearby there is a Cossima market, well-stocked. Museum, memorial, a historical site. The campground: Covered swimming area, sanitary facilities are sufficiently available and cleaned twice a day, super clean. The staff is helpful and very nice. At the campground, there’s a restaurant I can recommend and a snack bar. Bread can be ordered at the campground. There’s also a dog shower for your furry friend after the beach trip.

First, the positive: - The location is simply great. You can see the sea from many places, even from the bathroom. You can take a steep path and be right at the sea and the sights. - The beach is great, large, and spacious. Dogs are also not a problem here. - The sanitary facilities are always clean and even equipped with toilet paper and soap. The toilet seat is missing here as well, as is often the case in France. - The playground is suitable for children of all ages, and there is even children's animation, which we, however, did not attend. The negative: - The place is loud, very loud. Until late at night and very early in the morning again. There are arrivals, departures, doors slamming, loud shouting, engines running, and somehow no consideration taken. - The pool is far too small for the many guests. You can hardly swim, and furthermore, they also play ball in it. In addition, it looks kind of dull. - The children cannot easily get to the playground on their own. Cars often drive far too fast; large vehicles constantly pass by, and it is not always visible. - There is no shade at the sites. It didn't bother us much, but when it is really warm, it could be annoying. Conclusion: Nice for a few days, especially because of the great location, but not for longer. It is not really relaxing here.

Good location, beautiful view of the beach. Wifi doesn’t work, however, the fee already paid will not be refunded by the operator (not the camping). Restaurant is not recommended. Our food was not warm and of poor quality. Mainly French guests.

We spent 2 nights at the campsite and ate at the restaurant. The location is really great and everything worked well. However, it's more of a place for summer or at least for good weather. The washing-up areas are exposed to wind and rain and really uncomfortable. The restaurant was okay.

The sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day and are clean. The site has direct beach access via a steep footpath, as it is located above the coast. The sandy beach is very wide and the sea access is shallow. Ideal for children.
