Campingplatz Oggau

The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Our pitch was fine, especially during the high temperatures (even at night) our shaded spot was very good. The adjacent outdoor swimming pool (as well as all other pools in Burgenland at Lake Neusiedl) could be used for free with the BurgenlandCard. This gave us always the opportunity for a free cooling off during our bike tours. The restaurant on site has a good price-performance ratio. Unfortunately, there were not many shopping options in Oggau itself - especially we missed the selection of organic products.

Greetings from Tyrol, We went on a tour through Austria and this was the best campsite. The pitches are surrounded by hedges and are sufficiently large. The operators are always friendly and very helpful. The sanitary facilities were always clean and very nice. The adjacent swimming pool, which campers can also use for free - simply perfect 👌. And to top it all off - a lovely, affordable restaurant with really delicious food 🥰. We are thrilled and will happily come back. Best regards.

Very beautiful, lovingly managed campsite at Lake Neusiedl. Parcelled, delineated plots by small hedges. The toilet facilities are new and very clean. Free Wi-Fi throughout the site. The onsite restaurant offers good and reasonably priced food and drinks.

Quiet parcels partially defined by bushes. Outdoor swimming pool right next door. Best suited for cycling tours. Ms. Lukesch is very attentive. Negative: The southern wind tavern is not particularly good. The washroom and toilet area is not very clean, especially during the season!!! The power box is very outdated, no CEE plug!!! The self-service shop has little selection and is way too expensive.

Beautiful, clean place in a great environment, ideal for cycling tours! Vineyards, lake, small towns with many dining options. Vienna and Bratislava are only about 60 km away, Hungary 20 km by bike, great! If only it weren't for the airplanes, flying right over the place: approach path to Vienna Airport. It's surprising that it's not mentioned anywhere, but in the end, it bothered us less than we thought. Rush hour (every 2-3 minutes) in the morning and evening, usually quiet at night. Additionally, there are the bird detonation devices, every 30 seconds during the day ...(we were there in September for the grape harvest) In short: Initially a shock, but then a quick adaptation, we stayed for a good 2 weeks. And when the planes weren't around, you almost missed them! Definitely have the Flightradar24 app installed!

A quiet, beautiful, well-maintained campsite! Very suitable for young and old. Ideal for families with small children. Next door, there is a very nice and well-maintained swimming pool, free with the Burgenland card. Unfortunately, there is nothing for older children available; it would still be necessary to make some improvements there. But otherwise, a dream. Sanitary facilities very well maintained.

Respectable square. Everything is somehow quite orderly, without standing out. The many permanent campers do not disturb. Recommended for cyclists and wine lovers.

The plots are small and bordered by hedges, with easy access to electricity. The washroom is only accessible with a key card and is very well maintained. The bike path around Lake Neusiedl runs directly past the site. The outdoor swimming pool is right next door (accessible free of charge with the Neusiedl Lake Card provided free of charge by the operator).
