Camping Öschlesee

We booked the place on the return trip from Lake Garda for one night. Check-in was problem-free and friendly. The spot was flat and electricity was sufficiently close. For water, you had to walk 15 meters. Öschlesee is quickly reachable on foot via an underpass, but it was (on a Saturday) brutally crowded, fuller than any outdoor pool. The snack bar is at most sufficient, very simple fries dishes and in my opinion, too expensive for that. What was really frustrating was that some people didn't seem to take the night quiet seriously and it was really loud until 1:00 AM, with music and loud talking, laughing etc., fortunately, a thunderstorm then sent the people to bed. Live and let live is okay, but if you want to sleep to be reasonably rested on the road again the next day, sufficient sleep is really important.

Nice campground, sanitary facilities very clean, many permanent campers. The "restaurant" is a poor snack bar. 100% convenience food, lukewarm and completely overpriced. Better to cook for yourself.

We stayed with our caravan for 6 nights. The site is beautifully located by the nearby Öschlesee. The sanitary facilities were clean. The bread van that stands in front of the gate every morning is highly recommended. The pitches are mostly very uneven, so one should always have something for leveling with them. Anyone booking a comfort pitch must live with some compromises! In other places, a comfort pitch usually has the wastewater on the pitch, but we didn't have that. Regardless, it was very nice, and we would come back.

Spent 8 nights at the site. Beautiful large pitches, nice clean sanitary facilities. Fresh rolls even on Sunday. We were thrilled and would love to come back :)

On our way home, we made an unscheduled stop for an overnight stay at the site. The reception was very friendly, and we felt welcomed. The campsite is filled with permanent campers, which we didn't find disturbing. It is beautifully laid out overall. We were able to choose a pitch, all of which are very spacious. Additionally, there are separate pitches for motorhomes at the edge and a tent meadow in the middle of the site. There is also a grilling area available. All in all, it feels quite harmonious. The sanitary facilities are very clean and up to date. The camping booth is also perfectly fine for a rustic meal (nice on the terrace) - one should not expect haute cuisine - but friendly service and good beer... In the morning, without prior reservation, there are fresh baked goods from the local baker. We can definitely recommend the campsite. Preferably for more than just one day off in the Allgäu...

We stayed here at short notice and were very satisfied: extremely nice and helpful staff at the reception and very clean sanitary facilities. The only downside (due to the location): our spot was close to the entrance, where you can hear the cars from the adjacent street very clearly. Otherwise, everything was excellent and a great opportunity for a stopover on the way to Austria/Italy.

We enjoyed it here. The places are large, the owners are very nice and helpful. There are very many opportunities for walking and swimming and the bakery and the restaurant round off the whole thing.

Great campsite operators, wonderful atmosphere, excellent facilities, it's worth a visit. We will come back!
