Nice campsite near the city.

Very friendly staff, good spot to choose from. Great bike path to the city, always along the stream or Salzach. No traffic. Bread roll service and small items can be purchased on site. Restaurant and self-service market 300m away. Wi-Fi works.

Good Place for a Short Trip

Very good connection to the bus network. Bus stop directly across from the square. Relatively quiet despite being near the highway. Shopping opportunities within a 10-minute walk. Due to the absence of a permanently staffed reception, like in Graz, there was occasionally a lot of confusion with the … More

Small site, with a lot of tree cover, which was not checked for dead wood, dog-friendly

The arrival was fine. There was a welcome box for dog owners. You can choose the small plots yourself. The washroom is small and not clean. 5 toilets for ladies and 5 showers, there was mold here. When there were problems, the operator made excuses and was also unreachable via the emergency number.… More

Very good site

The site is very beautiful for a city square. Paved squares from medium to small. Strong tree cover. Sanitary facilities always clean. Nice previous owners and staff. We were with a 7.5 m caravan 2 people and a dog and were very satisfied. Stay of 8 days.

Good place for a stopover or city sightseeing.

Everything was great and uncomplicated, only the electricity price of €7.50 seems too high to me.

City Tour Salzburg

Great place for a city tour in Salzburg. Small, clean campsite with a very decent sanitary area and friendly staff. Rolls service and a small assortment of food on site. Good value for money in terms of site price! Always happy to come back!

Great Campsite for City Visits

We were received very warmly and were able to choose a pitch. A great plus: arrival is possible from 10 AM. At the reception - a very friendly operator family - you can get tickets for public transportation, as well as the Salzburg Card; highly recommended because many museums, attractions, and the … More

Okay for one night

Operator very friendly. Campsite very quiet. Sanitary facilities old but clean. What bothered me was that the campsite is closed with barriers from 8 AM to 11 PM, so one can only leave from 8 AM. No WiFi and sometimes long power cables were needed.

More infos about Camping Nord Sam

Camping Nord Sam is a green holiday paradise on the north-eastern edge of Salzburg. This campsite is ideal for those interested in culture to visit the city of Mozart, but also for families who want to go on excursions into the surrounding countryside on foot or by bike.

Camping close to the city with its own outdoor pool

The family-run campsite is located just 3 kilometres outside the historic old town of Salzburg and is an excellent starting point for visiting the Hohensalzburg Fortress or Mozart's birthplace. The bus stops directly at the holiday village and takes guests to the city centre within 15 minutes. Active guests can hire a bike at the campsite and cover the route along the rushing Salzach river on two wheels. For swimming fans, the campsite has an outdoor pool with sun terrace and sun loungers. There is also an outdoor playground for the little ones to have fun. The grounds of Camping Nord Sam are divided by green hedges, colourful ornamental shrubs and tall deciduous trees, offering plenty of privacy on the 100 parcelled-out pitches. The sanitary facilities with shower rooms, individual shower cubicles and baby facilities have been recently renovated and can be heated. There is a mini-market at the reception as well as a café where camping travellers can stock up on bread rolls and drinks or have breakfast on the flowered terrace. If you want to go on an extended cycle tour from the campsite, you can follow the Mozart Cycle Path into the picturesque Salzburg Lake District or along Hellbrunner Allee to Berchtesgaden.
