Nallikari Holiday Village

It’s actually a great campsite. In the evenings and sometimes until late at night, it can be quite loud due to the football field, barking dogs, and mopeds, motorcycles, and souped-up cars driving around outside the campsite. At least that was the case during our stay. Late at night, it eventually becomes quieter, allowing for some sleep. There are very good bike paths to the city, about 3.5 km away. The reception is very friendly.

We had booked a large pitch. Therefore, the neighbors were far away, but the good sanitary facilities were nearby. Very nice, green, and quiet. The small pitches seemed rather small and close together. The bike connection to the city was fantastic, a bike highway through green spaces and over several bridges directly into the center (about 4 km away). So: everything was great.

The campsite gives a good overall impression. Friendly reception at the front desk. The center of Oulu can be quickly reached by bike on a very well-developed bike path (3.5 km). There is also a good bus connection, which we did not try out. The sanitary facilities are heated and clean. There are also extra heated rooms for washing and staying. Since we caught a somewhat colder May, it was a blessing to enter the heated rooms. We found it unfortunate that the café selling bread and rolls right next to the reception only opened at 11 am. However, from June there will be earlier opening hours.

Friendly reception. Allows for a prior tour to select the pitch. Good sanitation. Unfortunately, during our stay, there was noise from earthworks in part of the area. Good bus connection to the city center.
