Camping Nahetal

A campsite to feel good! Beautifully located and super nice hosts! We have been there often and always come back with pleasure! The place has almost become our second home :)

Positive: Great surroundings: hiking trails and wineries for every taste Top sanitary facilities: clean with showers that include a stool and small sink Large pitches: with views of nature all around. Negative: Outdoor swimming pool: too little roof, you can smell the chemical toilet Noise for the sensitive: the train can be heard, probably because it's otherwise so beautifully quiet.

The campsite is located in a quiet area, surrounded by vineyards. It is a perfect starting point for beautiful hiking tours. The wine from the local winemakers is also very good. Those looking for a quiet spot to relax will find it here.

Super nice operators. The sanitary facilities are clean and free. Washing laundry with dryer is a bit expensive at 8 euros. Still highly recommended. The tarte flambée is amazing.

Beautiful campsite with generously spaced motorhome pitches and spacious comfort pitches. Moderate prices. The operators are extremely friendly and helpful. The tarte flambée prepared by the operator is fantastic! The sanitary facilities are excellent, the showers are wonderful; finally a campsite with handheld showers instead of high-mounted spray heads. The location invites for extensive hiking or biking tours in beautiful surroundings, and along the way, you’ll find several wineries. If we travel to the Nahe again, we would definitely love to stay at this campsite again.

Beautiful camping site, quiet despite the train across the street which you can hardly hear, surrounded by fields and forests great for hiking and cycling, local restaurant 5 minutes away. Friendly operators, small takeaway meals, drinks and roll service. Will go again.

Location/Facilities: The Nahetal campsite is idyllically located on the outskirts of Oberhausen on the Nahe river. It is surrounded by vineyards and fields. Unfortunately, the river Nahe cannot be seen from the site. You can start hiking or biking tours directly from the site. A large hiking map can be found at the entrance. The pitches are level and partly separated by hedges. Recently planted hedgerows compensate for the missing hedge strips. Staff: The operating couple is exceptionally friendly and warm. Offers: Guests are offered a daily bread roll service and regular wine tastings. There is a bistro on the grounds offering refreshments. Unfortunately, only tarte flambée is available during the autumn and winter months. Sanitary Facilities: The sanitary facilities are simple but adequately equipped. We found them clean at any time of the day. On the elongated grounds, the path to the sanitary building can be quite far in parts. A major disadvantage is the closure of the ladies' area during the winter months. Ladies and gentlemen use a shared sanitary area. Of course, there are ladies who are reluctant to walk past a gentleman at the urinal. Additionally, waste containers for hygiene products were lacking. Radiators are sufficiently available; however, some are fixed at level one, so the showers can be quite cold depending on occupancy. Conclusion: A visit is worth it. However, the price-performance ratio is not favorable in winter due to cost-cutting measures in the sanitary area.
