Camping Municipal de Fougères

Also spent 2 nights there this year in May. I can fully repeat the review from last year. You feel like you are in a park—even though many spots are occupied. We were even able to arrive earlier after prior arrangement. The sanitary facilities were the cleanest of our trip through Brittany. Anytime again.

Pure campsite for travelers. New, appealing, and very clean sanitary facilities. We were there in May, and the site was only moderately occupied. Water, sewage, and electricity available at the site. Extremely friendly and helpful couple managing the place. The large and level pitches with grass are loosely bordered by hedges and located among trees, providing ample shade. During the day, there are some noises from the nearby industrial area, but in the evenings and nights it's quiet. No shopping opportunities on site, but a discount store and a bakery about 500m away, shopping center 1.5km. About 2km on foot to the city or with two bus lines. Public swimming pool within walking distance. Great starting point for St. Malo, Mont St. Michel, Vitré, Rennes. We intended to stay two nights and ended up staying four. If you don't feel good here, you can't be helped.
