The campsite is currently a dump in every respect with limited services and has the audacity to charge 39 € for an overnight stay (2 people).

Only the location is good. Otherwise, the worst we have ever experienced. Sanitary facilities of the very lowest standard, dirty, no hot water, no towels, clogged toilets, etc. Electrical connections are adventurous. Price far too high. Never again...

Apart from the location which is very nice and central, the campsite is one of the worst I know. Outdated and moldy sanitary facilities, no hot water at the sinks, no toilet seats, hot showers at an extra cost, and sometimes not even lukewarm, showers in the dark in the small washhouse, muddy landscape in the rain. Munich deserved a better place.

Nothing was good. I am at a loss for words. Loveless, dirty, unkempt. Surely the man at the reception was not directly unfriendly - warm and inviting and giving the impression of wanting to help is something else. The prices are a disgrace given the service provided. The age of the sanitary facilities is not wild, but the toilets don’t even have seats… I still remember that, but it was in the 80s when campsites typically fulfilled all the bad clichés. I take my hat off to everyone around me who is actually "camping" here and spending their time here. In my eyes, this is a city-close meadow with the possibility to park, to then explore the city. Just with a bit more than 100,- euros for two nights, a very expensive parking spot. Price for two adults, two children and two shower tokens.

Sanitary facilities are an imposition. Overcrowded space, muddy spots.

The site is under construction, but instead of closing it, one stands with 2 people (with a dog) without electricity and without hot water - which costs extra - for an outrageous 37.50 Euros a night in the middle of a construction zone. An outrage!!! The sanitary facilities are completely outdated, dirty, and grimy. We did not use them. Everywhere pipes stick out of dug-up holes, which are poorly marked with red and white tape. At least half of the site is fenced off by construction fencing, behind which trash and construction debris piles up. There are no shopping facilities anymore and the snack bar is no longer accessible from the site. Those with a shower and toilet onboard would be better off parking on the roadside for a night. The operator should be ashamed.

Those who have a well-equipped motorhome should avoid this spot and look for a place with S-Bahn connection. To all others, it must be said that this spot is rather modest. Being old is one thing, but being so dirty shouldn't be the case.

We were warmly welcomed in the evening at 8:00 PM. The place was relatively full due to construction and the football match. But there is still always a place to be found. More of a parking space character, sanitary facilities under construction or old. We did not use them. Great location for visiting the city or cycling tours along the Isar. Quiet at night. For 2-3 overnight stays it’s okay. I wouldn’t want to spend my vacation here.

This well-frequented, municipal city campsite is located close to the city centre on the Isar Canal raft site and offers good bus and underground connections to Munich city centre.
The flat and park-like meadow area is broken up by groups of trees and bushes and is located in the middle of the idyllic landscape conservation area of the southern Isar floodplains. The site has pitches for motorhomes, camping trailers and tents.
The sanitary facilities have washrooms with hot showers, disabled toilets and a launderette with tumble dryers and washing machines. There is also a recreation room and cooking facilities for self-catering.
There are a number of hiking trails, cycle routes and sights to explore in the vicinity of the campsite. Guests can reach the famous Hellabrunn Zoo and the Maria Einsiedelei outdoor pool on foot. The DAV bouldering centre, the Geiselgasteig film site with Bavaria-Filmtours and numerous beer gardens and pubs are also nearby.
