Camping Moskato

The campsite gave us a messy and atmosphere-less impression. The grounds seem to receive little maintenance, and the restaurant does not look inviting either. Therefore, we did not eat there, so we cannot comment on the quality of the food. Furthermore, from the campsite, you look out at apartment buildings, which for us does not contribute to a cozy vacation vibe. The pitches are poorly maintained. The grass was high, and it seemed as if it had not been mowed for a long time. Additionally, there was litter scattered in various places, which is unfortunate because it could easily be cleaned up with a bit more attention. The pebble beach across the road is currently not appealing. We were in this region already in April, and we were disappointed then as well. Now, at the end of May, we still find it unfinished.

The pictures do not match reality in any way....in the surroundings and directly adjacent to the camp is a multitude of bars and hotel complexes, as well as the road which is fast and heavily trafficked....the camp itself was probably in line with the national category. We experienced the chef as sometimes gruff, sometimes loud, but also friendly...the food was good but not a highlight..the most positive aspect of the camp was the sanitary facilities....the beach is beautiful but completely overcrowded....the back part of the site was a bulk waste dump.

Beautiful campsite, nestled in a small olive grove. Slightly terraced, sites partially covered with shading translucent tarps. To get to the beach, you only need to cross the road, and there are sun loungers and umbrellas belonging to the campsite. The road didn't bother us. The owner is very friendly and speaks good German. The sanitary facilities are tip-top clean and new. We are on a journey and spontaneously extended our stay. The access from northern Albania leads mostly over very good but also very steep and winding roads. Traveling with a 7m motorhome.
