Camping Moorcamp

Reviews about a campsite are a matter of individual perspective and expectation. If you are looking for absolute peace, are satisfied with simple and clean sanitary facilities, and do not expect any tourist programs or services, this is the right place for you. That’s why we also give 5 stars, not according to the classic tourist understanding, but according to our own feelings. Walks, with or without a dog, and biking tours to the nearby moorland are simply great. The operators are courteous and helpful. We will gladly come back.

We are at the campsite for Pentecost 2023 and very enthusiastic. A calm, relaxed atmosphere with very nice campers. The operator is actively present on the site with heart, and the staff are very nice and diligent in keeping everything clean. We will definitely come back - 5 stars.

A lovingly designed campsite with attention to detail. It is complemented by a rose pond including a frog concert (can only be heard in the front row). The facility and the washroom are well-maintained and clean. Those seeking peace will certainly find it here. A big thank you to the campsite operator for his tips. We will definitely visit this site more often.

It was great to spend this Pentecost weekend at the campsite. Super friendly service! The pods are not tents, but for me much better. And there is still so much to discover in the region by bike. It is a beautiful campsite with a pond, insect hotel, plastic elephant in life-size, and lots of greenery.

We spent three nights at the site with our two dogs. The place is located very peacefully, wonderfully designed, and created with a lot of attention to detail. It has a very family-oriented atmosphere where much is based on mutual trust; it's really nice to experience that!

A wonderfully quiet, cozy campsite in a park-like setting. Caring, personal attention from the hosts. Bread roll service, ice cream truck, and the beautiful moorland landscape as a destination.

Super nice operators, with whom you can also have a friendly chat in between. The park-like facility, the directly adjacent forest, and the many small attractions around the campsite invite you to hike or mountain bike. Those who love the nighttime soundscape of the forest will find their oasis of well-being here. A small pond located on the premises invites you to linger. The rest is for purists, clean toilet facilities, a small drink refrigerator at the reception, and a service for ordering rolls...That's all.

Moorcamp Warmsen, stay in early June 2021, two adults with 3 large dogs. Very quiet location, right in the moor. Large pond on the park-like grounds of this smaller campsite, with very! clean sanitary facilities and an incredibly nice campsite manager. Suitable for small children, but caution due to the pond. Roll service and drink purchasing possible. Definitely take mosquito spray with you. Very suitable for those seeking relaxation, seniors, and dog owners, you leave the campsite and are right in the forest.
