Heated swimming pool is a dream, Sanitary good, small flaw showers cannot be adjusted

Independent of the degradation of morals observable everywhere in Germany, especially when camping, we can unfortunately currently only give one star. The ADAC rating of 4 points is incorrect. The site still offers no shade even after almost 15 years. The front men’s toilet has been smelling awful since it was built due to a planning error. The foul smell extends into the shower. The corridor in the sanitary building is dangerously slippery on bathing days because all the children from the outdoor pool go directly to the toilet soaking wet. The WiFi in the free basic version works only moderately and is time-limited; more costs extra. Campers with dogs are taking over. Barking, pooping dogs spill out of every 2nd caravan. The permanent camping area has the charm of a Brazilian favela. An objective rating would probably yield a maximum of 3 points.

A beautiful campsite, with very clean sanitary facilities, lovely outdoor pool, good offerings for children (for a fee), we find the on-site gastronomy lacking. Great, helpful permanent campers.

Great campsite with many opportunities. Above all, the sand hill is extraordinary and invites exploration. There are also several hiking trails around the site. The outdoor swimming pool right by the site is top-notch. The sanitary facilities were always clean and are available in large numbers. Showers are included in the price, and electricity is charged based on consumption.

The place is large and clearly laid out, paved roads/pathways. The areas are more gravel/stones than grass. Not well suited for tents. It's more for mobile campers (with tent or pavilion). When it rains, the water does not drain away and evaporates very slowly. For this large area, there are only 2 sanitary facilities, and they look like it. Very dirty. Cleaning staff does a thorough clean once a day. Snack bar/restaurant within reach of the site, we found the offer sufficient and reasonably priced. The bread roll service is very good. The swimming pool is okay and can be used free of charge. All other attractions cost money and can quickly add up. But they are okay, and one can decide how often and how much they want to spend on them. Whether we will come back is rather unlikely, as there are better places. Also, the website is very sparse with information and a phone call gives a short and curt response.

Very unfriendly staff, partially defective showers and toilets. In the season, the wet areas are already dirty early in the day. When reported: "we will take care of it," nothing happens until evening! Concerns directed to the staff are simply passed along by those responsible, as if nobody were in charge; there is no real communication among the employees! As for free Wi-Fi at the campsite, after 10 minutes the speed is reduced! Anyone who wants to use normal Wi-Fi can book it for an additional fee from the campsite operator. The parking spaces in front of the campsite are also subject to fees. All activities advertised by the campsite, except for the outdoor pool, are subject to charges. At this campsite, priority number one is unfortunately only financial. Very unfortunate since this campsite used to be very nice and family-friendly.

We were now for the second time at this site and we will definitely come back. We are usually there around Easter to visit relatives, which is why we unfortunately can’t say anything about the integrated swimming pool, as it is still closed and too cold. However, it makes a very good impression from the outside. There are still a lot of other recreational activities that you can even pursue on-site. The staff at the site are also always friendly and have an open ear.

The campsite is great, located right at the foot of the kaolin hill. Super suitable for children, as the outdoor swimming pool can be used for free. Additionally, there is a large summer toboggan run, a nice mini golf course, and the opportunity to go sand skiing (unfortunately quite expensive).
