👎 The campsite was clean, fresh and located in a very beautiful spot by the water. There is plenty to do in the area. Just keep in mind a travel time of 25 minutes to drive down the mountain to the highway. But the route is nice and easy to drive. There is lots to do on the mountain itself as well.

The grounds of Camping Molignon extend to the banks of the river La Borgne with well-tended lawns and mature trees. The spacious pitches boast magnificent views of the snow-capped peaks. Alternatively, comfortable rental accommodation is available. Both the chalets and the bungalows and mobile homes are equipped with separate living and sleeping areas as well as a kitchen. If you don't feel like cooking, you can indulge in Valais specialities and international delicacies in the restaurant. The adjoining outdoor terrace is a popular meeting place for a cosy chat. Freshly baked goods are available at reception in the morning and everyday necessities can be bought in the small grocery shop. The highlight of the complex is the heated swimming pool, which is covered in bad weather. Younger guests can look forward to a paddling pool and playground. Table tennis is a great way to get some exercise on holiday. Free WLAN is available throughout the entire site.

The Les Marécottes alpine zoo, where wolves, black bears, chamois and many other mountain animals can be observed, is also exciting. The adjoining rock swimming pool provides cooling and bathing fun. Culture enthusiasts should visit the old town of Sion, which is famous for its two historic fortresses, Tourbillon Castle and the Basilica of Valeria.
