The campsite is ideal for arriving and departing with the ferry from Kissamos. Very friendly reception, you can choose your own spots. We started several tours from here. We were unlucky with the sea, always strong winds and high waves.

The special thing is that the sea there is "boat-free" and swimmers can relax in the warm water (28°C-30°C) for hours. The seabed is only sand; to snorkel, you need to walk about 1 km along the beach towards the east. It is the only bay where tolerable temperatures prevail even in August (daytime up to 32°C, with a cooling down to almost 20°C at night). The feared southern winds are not present here.
