Situated between the sea and the mountains in the middle of a shady pine forest, holidaymakers can enjoy a comfortable camping holiday. There are plenty of activities on offer here: whether paddling through the water in a canoe or relaxing in the spa pool - everyone will find something to do here. Sports enthusiasts can also keep fit on holiday and work out in the campsite gym. The pitches are located on level grass and sandy ground surrounded by dense deciduous trees. Some pitches are separated from each other by half-height hedges.

Campsites by the beach are very nice. A private cable (not the normal camping one) is required for the refrigerator. Reception closes at 6 PM, after that no arrivals are possible. Showers are too hot, cannot be adjusted. Sanitary facilities are outdated. Often no soap. Overall, a nice place due to the landscaping. The cleaning staff is rarely seen. Many offers for children. Toilet disposal for campers is disgusting, smelly, no flushing possible and no hose available. The aftermath of the previous user floats in the basin. In 40 years of camping, I’ve never seen anything like this. Obviously, it’s also not cleaned by the staff. No minimarket. The bar (drink €10, small glass, ice cream €2.50 small scoop) I found too expensive. In the restaurant, you can only eat by reservation even when everything is empty.

Location great, supermarket accessible by bike or on foot, right by the beach, loungers and umbrellas free of charge, baguette and croissants in the morning at the square (affordable). Language French, English not preferred/heard/spoken. Pool ok, small pool for little ones is great. Sanitary facilities at the entrance were only really cleaned once a week. With so many people, that's not enough. Everyone is encouraged to contribute, but not to clean. Adults wipe clean with a moist cloth. Kids can't be left alone. And we are used to vacations in the south.

The spots in the front row are amazing!! Directly at the kilometer-long white sandy beach. With morning sunrise 🌅. Sensational!! Each pitch has its own pavilion and refrigerator.

The spot right by the sea is super nice. However, the campsite has neglected the Pentecost holidays. The slides only open in the second week. The Kids Camp is unfortunately not open. Work is being done at the Beach Bar and the sanitary facilities are insufficient. But what can you expect? It is a natural campsite after all. Worth mentioning is the seating area at the pitch and the refrigerator. Negative is the emptying station. There is only a disgusting, dirty place here. All in all, it is still nice.

We booked Merendella primarily because of the offerings for children. The pitch was XL and really nice, but the rest was unfortunately less so. The trampolines could only be used by children weighing at least 25 kg, the children's animation was fully booked long before our arrival, the slides were only open for four hours a day and were closed completely after a few days due to damage. The water trampoline castle wasn't set up at all. Additionally, it was very loud in the evenings due to various music events, sometimes there was sound coming from two sides until midnight. The five toilets available for the lower area were mostly occupied, dirty, and despite daily complaints, there was no toilet paper. In response to our general complaint, we were told to submit our concern via email. We only received a response after we were back home. Everything was brushed off, and we were told that a pizza voucher would have been offered to us if we had been still on site. Our conclusion: Not recommended!

Great location right by the sea with wooden flooring on the sand for wheelchairs. Accessible toilet is good, but the shower unfortunately has no adjustable water temperature. Dishwater is usually only cold. Children and youth animation is highly emphasized. The techno music - if one can call the thundering bass noise that - is unbearably loud at the expensive spots near the beach and lasts for several hours! This place is not suitable for seniors during the high season. The staff in the restaurant is very accommodating and service-oriented, just like the gentlemen who ensure order in the area. The people at the reception and the head of service still need to learn. "C'est le ton qui fait la musique" - deliberately written in French, as despite the many German-speaking guests, the receptionist cannot (or will not?) speak or understand German.

Parking spaces directly by the sea, water slides, beach restaurant. By the way, not too loud, but rather discreet😀 We were right next to it. Highly recommended!

Very nice camping site with many pitches right by the sea. Unfortunately, there are also downsides. The sanitary facilities are poorly cleaned. The toilets do not have seats. The language at the reception is French and poor English. No one here speaks German. The staff is partly quite unfriendly. If you stand near the beach bar, you will be tormented by French music.

Camping Merendella welcomes its camping guests in an outstanding location directly behind the Mediterranean Sea on the east coast of Corsica. A private beach and an outdoor pool are among the special features of the campsite in a quiet location on the outskirts of San-Nicolao.
The pitches and mobile homes at Camping Merendella are spread over a natural meadow area. There are pitches under shady trees and sunny pitches, some of which are in the front row directly behind the coast. A highlight is the direct access to the Mediterranean Sea with a 300 metre long private beach. Alternatively, the water park with heated outdoor pool, children's pool and several slides offers pure swimming fun on a family holiday. The whirlpool and sun terrace around the pool offer relaxation. For camping with children, there is a children's club with workshops and sports activities. In the evening, guests get together for themed parties, music and light shows.
The wide range of leisure activities on offer includes a fitness room, table tennis, petanque, animated aquagym, trampolining and a sociable TV room. Guests can go kayaking on the sea. Two restaurants offer a tasty alternative to self-catering. The campsite can arrange car hire to explore the surrounding area. There are electric car charging stations on site. Dogs are very welcome on camping holidays with four-legged friends. The lively town centre of Moriani-Plage in San-Nicolao is 1 km away.
