A real highlight is the sauna right by the ice-cold glacier stream, where you can cool off after your sauna session. We also have a unique yoga room built into the rock, bouldering rocks for climbing, and a rustic community hut with an open fireplace for cosy evenings.

Q: What is the terrain like and what should I prepare for?

You can expect a terraced, natural terrain with flat pitches between birches, pines, and huge rocks. Since the glacier river divides the campsite and the waterfall is right next to it, you have a natural, louder background noise here – perfect for nature fans, but good to know for sensitive ears.

Q: What prices and extra costs should I expect at the campsite?

Prices depend on the season and your type of accommodation. It is best to enter your travel dates directly to check the latest prices. You should plan for the following cost factors: Pitch fee for your tent, motorhome, or car with caravan Electricity connection (10 to 16 amps) Dogs are allowed (a small fee may apply) Use of washing machine and tumble dryer for a fee Sauna use and bread roll service on site

Q: What equipment do I need for the ground and how does the arrival work?

Since the campsite is located on natural, partly rocky terrain, you should definitely pack sturdy pegs for rocky ground for your tent. The journey takes you through the picturesque Oldedalen valley to the end of the road – the roads are easy to drive on, but typically Norwegian and partly narrow.

Q: What about catering and shopping options?

For the perfect start to the day, the campsite offers a fresh bread roll service. You can get small items at the kiosk and the small grocery store on site. A restaurant is only about 400 metres away, while you will find larger supermarkets in the town about 20 kilometres away.

for everyone who enjoys being in nature. Terraced terrain with some massive boulders. The meltwater runoff from the glacier splits the area and the famous Voldefossen hangs almost over one. Accordingly loud noise backdrop. Just enough sanitary facilities, but they are clean. There is even a sauna here.
