Camping Mas de la Cam

The Mas de la Cam campsite primarily appeals to campers looking for relaxation who appreciate a variety of bathing areas. Families also get their money's worth here and can even bring their dogs. The campsite is located in the middle of a forest on the banks of the Gardon, where visitors can swim, as well as in the campsite's large and well-maintained pool area.

Pampering camping in the midst of magnificent nature

In the Gard department, the Mas de la Cam campsite welcomes its visitors on 200 parcelled out pitches in the nature reserve of the Parc National des Cévennes. The Corniche des Cévennes panoramic road runs right next to the campsite and offers unforgettable views. The Gard is heavily dominated by rivers, which is also noticeable on the campsite. It is not only located directly on the banks of the Gardon, but also has a smaller stream running through it. The centrepiece of the site is undoubtedly the pool area. This is partially heated and covers around 500 square metres, with different types of swimmers getting their money's worth: While sporty swimmers do their laps, the little ones have fun in the shallow water or in the water playground. Young guests are also welcome in the dry playground, where they can have fun and really let off steam. If you want to get to know lots of other children quickly, the campsite's mini club is the place to be. As a special highlight, horse enthusiasts can also go pony riding. For parents, there is also a broad, animated sports programme available, including pétanque, tennis and team sports. Free internet access is also available on the campsite via WLAN.

Active camping holiday by the river and in the forest

The Gardon beach, which is located directly in front of the campsite, invites you to sunbathe, while the river itself tempts you to swim and splash around. The Corniche des Cévennes is a panoramic road that invites you to take a stroll, regularly interrupted by impressive views of the surrounding countryside. Thanks to the bike hire service directly at the Mas de la Cam campsite, it is also particularly easy to cycle along these and other routes. As group excursions are often more fun, the campsite management also offers regular guided hikes and cycle tours in the surrounding area. The Parc National des Cévennes is of course always an attractive destination, with its rivers and abundance of species. You can also find evidence of bygone eras such as the Neolithic Age.
