Located in the heart of the Spessart Nature Park, the Main-Spessart-Park campsite is ideal for a varied holiday in the great outdoors. The approximately 9-hectare, elongated site borders a dense forest around 5 kilometres from Triefenstein. All pitches are equipped with electricity, fresh water and waste water connections. Guests have the opportunity to buy bread rolls and other groceries in a kiosk directly on the campsite. Self-caterers are welcome to use the rustic barbecue hut, where holidaymakers can meet up for a campfire in the evening. Families will find plenty of opportunities to let off steam in the playground. The small animal enclosure is also an attraction for children. Ambitious holidaymakers can compete in football, volleyball and basketball on the multifunctional pitch. About 1 km away on foot, the Triefenstein Lengfurt forest pool invites you to cool off. A rapid water slide and a diving tower provide thrills. A paddling pool is available for the youngest visitors. Numerous excursion destinations are just a short drive from the campsite. These include, for example, the interesting paper mill in Homburg, which provides information on how paper is made, pressed and dried, as well as other stages of the process. Nature lovers can discover the charming landscape on tours along the Main cycle path or combine routes into the picturesque Tauber Valley with a train journey. Hikers use stages of the Spessart trails, which have been awarded the Wanderbares Deutschland quality seal.
