The campsite is located on an access road to the town of Aurland, but it was quieter than expected from early evening onwards. The site, as well as the sanitary facilities, are clean, but unfortunately, there are too few - when fully occupied, you have to wait for a shower or go very late. However, the site is more beautiful than the one in Flam, as it is sunny and significantly quieter. The small town of Aurland also has its charm, nicer and quieter than Flam, with a beautifully arranged bathing area. The campsite is recommendable.

We stayed with our camper van for one night at the site. The campsite is located between two roads and a river, a bit noisy during the day - but quiet and no problem sleeping in the evening. The sanitary facilities are clean, but there are far too few washing facilities and toilets when the site gets a bit fuller. We had a spot right by the river, campfires and marshmallow roasting for our children were no problem. In the summer, you also have sun in the evening, while other sites in the area are already in the shade. For passing through, we give a clear recommendation.
