Despite its ideal location close to the motorway and just 5 km from the centre of Lugano, the dog-friendly campsite has a peaceful and natural atmosphere with a constant view of the lake and the densely wooded hills in the background. Thanks to the excellent accessibility of many hiking and cycling trails as well as a service station for bicycles on the site, the campsite is perfect for an active holiday close to nature with proximity to many cultural excursion destinations.

The large camping area at Camping Lugano Lake offers holidaymakers a total of 170 pitches. In addition to well-kept sanitary facilities, a washroom and electricity connections, Wi-Fi is also a standard amenity. While the children can let off steam in the adjacent playground, the private beach area directly on the shores of Lake Lugano is of course very popular with young and old alike. A football pitch and a volleyball court also provide plenty of leisure fun at Camping Lugano Lake. With a snack bar, a supermarket just 200 metres away and several restaurants nearby, there is also plenty of culinary variety.

The 1,494 metre-high Monte Ferraro mountain is around 12 km away and is ideal for a day hike. Lugano itself also has a number of interesting exhibition centres, including the Museum of Culture and the Museum of Modern Art. The approximately 1.6 km long funicular railway up to the 926 m high Monte Bré is also particularly popular. This peak is considered the sunniest point in Switzerland and offers outstanding views of Lugano and the lake. The fashionable city of Milan is also just 80 kilometres away.
