Overall a nice campsite, especially for families with children. Mobile homes dominate, while there are few places for campers, they are huge and well divided, each surrounded by large hedges. The pool is nice, and there is a great water park for smaller children. However, the sanitary facilities are mediocre. It is completely incomprehensible that the ADAC rates the sanitary area with 4.5 stars. The water taps spray, it is dark, and there was once only cold water. The dishwashing sinks always had cold water in the evenings. 3 stars would be appropriate for the sanitary area. Beautiful view of the Luberon. Good starting point for excursions in the Luberon, to the ochre cliffs near Roussillon, to Aix-en-Provence, Salon-de-Provence, and Marseille.

The site is located just outside the town of Charleval, situated between two canals of the Durance. The reception was super friendly and accommodating. Several ladies speak German and were always eager to answer our various inquiries. It couldn't be better! The different parcels are large and usually separated by hedges. Due to the slight slope and the very narrow access roads, parking the caravan in the pitch is not always easy. I found the number of shower cabins in the sanitary facilities a bit low; however, the cabins were very spacious. There were also too few and too small washbasins. The location of the site, especially the restaurant and the outdoor pool area, with a view of the Luberon, is brilliant. Therefore, I recommend having dinner, the cuisine (including pizza) is certainly commendable. Here as well, as in the bar, the service can only be rated very good. The minimarket on-site offers everything necessary. For larger purchases, the supermarket in Mallemort is recommended. The campsite offered the usual evening entertainment (karaoke, band, etc.). The accompanying noise always ended by 11:00 PM. The site is ideal for children, and for teenagers, it is just about okay (I think), especially since Charleval doesn't offer much. The site is an ideal starting point for excursions in the Luberon or Provence.
