The big plus point of Camping Lötschental is its location. Nestled between the Valais and Bernese Alps, it offers perfect conditions for those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers. Large parts of the romantic valley are unspoilt. If you want to take a break from everyday life, the campsite is just the place for you. As the Lötschental campsite is located very close to the valley station of the mountain railway, the ascent to the mountain is easy and comfortable. One of the highlights of a summer holiday in the Lötschental is a tour on the Lötschentaler Höhenweg: it connects the Fafleralp with the Lauchernalp. The tour leads from 1,800 to 2,100 metres above sea level to the most beautiful viewpoints in the region. The mystical Schwarzsee lake is ideal for a longer break. On the Lötschental cultural trail, you will get to know the oldest village in the region, Ferden. In Kippel you can visit the Lötschental Museum. The Lötschental offers a total of 200 kilometres of well-marked hiking trails. The alpine adventure trail is popular with families: at 14 stations you can learn about regional plants and life on the alpine pastures. A ride on the Monstertrotti is a thrilling experience: the scooter is specially designed for rough terrain and takes you from the mountain station of the Wiler-Lauchernalp cable car down into the valley. Mountain bike trails of various levels of difficulty lead through the Lötschental and the surrounding mountains.

Camping Lötschental opened in August 2021 and is a small, family-run site with modern facilities. The pitches for motorhomes are up to 150 m² in size. Each pitch has an electricity connection. You can arrive at the modern campsite at any time: The innovative self-check-in system ensures this. You can then check in at reception the next day. The guest card is included in the price of your pitch: This gives you discounts on admission to many leisure attractions in the region. The Lonza river flows right next to the campsite, offering a unique view of the rugged peaks and extensive forests. There is a playground for children right on the campsite. Families meet here to make new friends. There is also a multifunctional sports field where you can get active. Travellers enjoy sitting around the fire pit in the evening and chatting about the perfect day's holiday.
