Camping Loreleystadt

I spontaneously visited my husband and our children at the campsite on Saturday evening to spend the last night with them. Although my visit had already been announced and properly registered at the reception right away, I was greeted by the owner in an extremely unfriendly tone. Instead of a welcome, I was immediately signaled that I – just like my seven-year-old son – was not welcome and should leave the site immediately. I found it particularly shocking that my four-year-old son, who had already spent a night at the site with my husband, was even denied the opportunity to go to the toilet when I wanted to accompany him. I consider such treatment of a small child completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, due to the character limit, no further input is possible.

Great location directly by the Rhine, lots of space, friendly site management

A very rude and restrictive operator. Mrs. Isolde Hemmer reigns over this place and it creates a stifling atmosphere. There is a threat of expulsion for the slightest issue! The site is very beautiful but overpriced. Electricity costs 1.50 euros per kWh!!! Sanitary facilities are old and not very clean! Buns are average!! Anyone who wants to camp relaxingly at Loreley should better switch to the other side of the Rhine to the Loreleyblick campsite.

Well-located campsite, right on the Rhine. Shower a bit old and small, no cold water, no separate washrooms for privacy. Nice operator. No dogs allowed, thus no annoying barking.

The operator was very friendly. Showers and toilets clean, but have become a bit dated over time. Electricity price of €1.50 per kW is too expensive. Unfortunately, the entire lawn area was full of duck droppings. Otherwise, the facility makes a good impression.

Small private campsite with nice hosts. Unfortunately quite loud due to the railway tracks, but otherwise recommended.

Beautiful campsite, great location by the Rhine, the operator is nice and friendly. Sanitary facilities are clean. The site is well-maintained and clean.

We were looking for a pitch in September in great weather. Unfortunately, we did not see the sign that dogs are not allowed, or it was not clear. While I wanted to ask the manager about the pitch, my husband drove out of the danger area and let our little dog out of the RV without a leash. The manager completely freaked out and screamed around the pitch. We should have actually been suspicious beforehand, because at this beautiful pitch, nothing was going on with the great weather. If a rating below zero were possible, we would give it.
