Camping Lo Monte

The stay has been pleasant, the camping is very quiet and the people very respectful, 10! For the cleaning staff. But if I have to highlight the terrible treatment from the boy at the reception (boy with a German accent), his attitude was very cold, and besides, he charged us double for two adults who stayed with us one night, something I had already discussed over the phone with a girl before arriving and she told me it was 9€ per adult per night. Even telling him that, the boy wouldn’t let us speak and charged us 36€. He made it very clear that 18€ was for Friday and 18€ for Saturday just for the simple fact of spending the night. I went to the reception, and the girl, super nice, confirmed to me that she doesn’t know why she charged 36€, the issue is not the 18€, it’s the cold and unpleasant treatment he had towards us, I also work in the public eye and you have to treat people with kindness. We barely received any information upon arrival.

ACSI discount during the low and high season. Surcharge if you consume too much electricity under 4 amps. Nice campsite with very good sanitation. It was very quiet, even at the nicely landscaped pool. A lot of work has been put into the planting. It looks beautiful. The plots are very large. They are all lined up with shade cloth above. Still, it looks open and friendly. There is water available at every site. There is a dog shower. In the restaurant, you can eat during the day until 4:00 PM for €5.00, e.g., paella. After 4:00 PM, normal prices apply again. Unfortunately, there is a very busy road running along the campsite, which causes a lot of noise pollution (at the back of the campsite). The village has little atmosphere. Everything is new construction. Near the beach, it is a bit cozier. There are beautiful bike paths along the coast.

Clean, modern campsite with good sanitation facilities, pool and indoor pool. Large lawn by the pool and a playground are available. Unfortunately, the restaurant has a new tenant in 2024 who no longer offers a menu of the day, only simple lunch (e.g., lentil soup) for 5 euros, no schnitzels on the menu anymore, and bad pizzas. Unfortunately, no recommendation anymore. Online reservations work and are recommended as the site is always full. The location is a bit remote, about 15 minutes from the beach and supermarket about 2 km away. The camping shop has drinks and fresh baguettes in the morning. Different sizes of pitches are available. In 2024, 2 rows of pitches were sacrificed for new mobile homes. Wi-Fi is charged at 12 euros/week. For long-term campers, there are also LAN connections available. Gas service is 18 euros for bottle filling in exchange with delivery to the pitch (Propane Repsol). Electricity costs 0.45 euros/kWh in April 2024.

but a stay in the winter months is not very pleasant for regular tourists, as the "permanent campers" insist very much on their rights because they have had a claim to "their" spot for many years. They also believe that it is "their" washing machine, "their" fitness equipment, etc. We would be glad to be able to move on after 14 days.
