Great place, friendly ladies at the reception. Everything very clean, the new washhouse is impressive. Small sunbathing area right by the lake. It's very quiet at the site. Well suited for 50+ or couples without children who simply want it quieter. Great path right by the lake to Locarno and beyond.

The family-run holiday site is located at the northern tip of Lake Maggiore between the towns of Tenero-Contra and Minusio in the Swiss canton of Ticino. Right next door is the local marina, where holiday guests can moor their own boat. Part of Camping Lido Mappo is a natural lakeshore with sunbathing lawns and sand and pebble beaches. Those who enjoy camping in nature will feel at home in the park-like grounds with lush green meadows, many deciduous trees and mountain views. The camping areas are partly divided by hedges and comprise a total of 357 pitches with areas between 65 and 85 square metres. Of these, 42 pitches are located directly on the water.
