Camping Lido di Salerno

Beautifully located on a clean sandy beach, you can jump directly into the sea from your pitch. The sanitary facilities are very basic, typical of southern Italy, but clean. The shower does not cost extra and there is also hot water available for washing up. It’s a good starting point to explore the region, with a bus stop right at the doorstep. Excursions can also be booked directly at the campsite. We cannot judge the restaurant as we did not use it. However, there is a bar where you can get your bread and cornetti in the morning, and also a very good espresso. Nevertheless, the airport and clubs are in close proximity, so it can be loud during the day, in the evening, and at night. However, this did not bother us.

Beautiful location directly by the sea in front of a very nice sandy beach! Extremely clean and very pet-friendly. The sanitary facilities are not high-tech but clean! We will definitely go back!

Overall really great. We extended twice, so 7 days. The owner of the campsite was very nice and very helpful. We will definitely come back when we vacation in Italy again.

Sanitary facilities for clean and sufficient. Unfortunately, no hot water for rinsing. Operator very friendly and helpful. My bike chain broke, and the senior manager got me a new chain on the same day.

Every night there is endless noise here. Loud disco music until the morning hours from the opposing neighbor. The heavily trafficked street adds to the difficulty. :(

The place is very conveniently located. Affordable price. Good location for excursions to the Amalfi Coast. Nice spots with sea view. Sanitary facilities are okay. Restaurant too expensive.

On our trip through Italy, we kind of stumbled upon this place and were welcomed in German with a round of information. The campsite itself - individually adaptable and customizable - turned out to be very low-maintenance. The sanitary facilities were not the most modern, but clean. The restaurant operates on the principle of pre-ordering at moderate prices - the only exception being the drinks. However, if you inquire beforehand, you can treat yourself well. Upon departure, there was a technical problem: the electronic cash register and card machine were not working. At the request of the campsite owners, we scraped together whatever we could, but that was not nearly enough. The rest was simply waived - we can hardly believe it until now! After all, we would have left enough money in the restaurant!!! Such a simple solution for such a serious problem probably only exists here! In this spirit, folks, have a nice vacation! And us? If we find ourselves in this area again, we would gladly come back!!!

The owners are super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are terrible. Everything is hastily built and looks like it's from the 1950s. Many things do not work, all the faucets are corroded and full of greenish deposits. The pipes are above ground. No hot water for rinsing. No washing machine available. View, beach, and restaurant are great.
