Overall a good place. We have been at the same pitch with private sanitary for the second summer in a row. Unfortunately, the things that were already defective last year, such as the drink holder in the refrigerator or the seams that have come apart in the bathroom (ceiling height coated with cracks), were not repaired and continue to open up. The wastewater connection for the caravan was built so high that an external connection was not possible. The paths are narrow and partly impassable due to a vehicle parked for a trailer. The reservable sports offer was almost impossible to book in the low season, and the necessary rackets were not available in sufficient numbers. Overall a very expensive place, maintenance could be better. Nevertheless, a good compromise especially with children.

We cannot understand how such a place can receive 5*. We have been traveling across Europe for many years at various sites, but we have never experienced anything like this. I will try to summarize the worst: 1. The value for what was paid. End of August still €90/night for an ordinary plot? At a 5* site you can't go wrong. At least that’s what we thought... 2. Every square meter on the whole site is clearly geared towards profit. There are no quiet zones or green areas, e.g. with benches where you can just sit. Everything is crammed and much too tight, also too densely built up in the mobile home area. The access roads to the pitches are sometimes blocked because there is no other way to park the car; with a 2.50m wide caravan sometimes impassable. 3. In the pool area, almost everything is prohibited; you feel like you are in an 80s outdoor pool. No loose swimming shorts, no quick dunk, no swimming aids. The lifeguards whistle immediately, you feel constantly watched. It is forbidden to slide down the slide with your child (5 years old). My wife was whistled at with my son with a swimming aid - it is prohibited. Eating prohibited, drinking prohibited. Luckily breathing is still allowed! 3. Speed limits seem to interest no one. Many are driving at 20-30 km/h, right past playing children, and on the already narrow gravel paths. 4. Animation is way too loud, and only in French. 5. There was no soap in the men's restroom even once during our 5-day stay. Way too few sanitary facilities for so many pitches. And at 11:00 PM it gets closed!?! 6. Water is only available every few pitches at one tap; it takes about 5 minutes to fill 10 liters because there is so little pressure. 7. Pizza in the local booth is like on a conveyor belt, goes through an oven and one of ours was still raw inside. Uncomfortable restaurant generally not recommended. The only thing to praise is the children's playground and the adjacent biotope with the animal enclosures. As a camper, you really shouldn't put yourself through this. Better to go a few km further over the border; there are so many wonderful places on the Spanish Costa Brava.

We were at Les Sablons for the first time in August 2023 - a pitch for a caravan and a pitch for a tent. We booked a certain pitch category and size. What we got were the two smallest pitches in this area, with vehicles parked on the paths or off to the side. Either all pitches in the category are the same size or simply cheaper. We have never experienced anything like this in Austria or Croatia. The number of sanitary facilities is far too low. In the showers, there are no hooks to hang the towel. The washhouse is used as a charging spot for phones or to get better reception. The washing basins are tiny. Well... something still needs to be done here.

We were on site for Easter this year. Had a nice pitch with its own sanitary area and sink with freezer combination. Unfortunately, not everything was open due to the season. The beach is beautiful, dog beach 5 minutes from the site by car. Prices in the restaurant are too high for the ambiance and offer, the restaurant is a better snack bar. The Wi-Fi was a disaster, medieval greetings. Not usable once in 14 days, despite several inquiries at the reception.

We, a family with 2 children and a dog, were at this wonderful campsite for about 2 weeks from the end of August this year. We have been to several other campsites in the last few years - but we liked Les Sablons the best so far. The accommodation Glamping Etang with 32 sqm is very well designed. The terrace is quite large with a sofa and comfortable chairs, super equipped. It is very pleasant that the sun shines on the terrace from morning to afternoon. There is also no house opposite the terrace, which already provides a certain degree of privacy. Dogs are officially not allowed on the direct beach, but in the evening you could see some dog walkers - it is somehow tolerated. We were almost daily at the beautiful dog beach which is not far away. By car it's no more than 5 minutes and there are enough parking spaces - also a nice beach for children and adults. From Les Sablons it might be a 20 minutes walk. Evening entertainment is okay - also the daytime animation program is very extensive. Archery with a funny animator excited us often. There were always many young people at the volleyball tournaments - final match: Baden-Baden against Esslingen 😎 Of course, there are several other campsites with a nicer and bigger water park with countless slides - but this is not a big priority for us. Also, the lovely towns like Sete, Valras, and Cap d'Agde can be reached in a short time. We are happy to give a recommendation for this wonderful family-friendly campsite.

Great place with a lot of variety. The beach is a maximum of 5 minutes walk away, depending on the starting point. I stayed in a rental tent. Well equipped, great location. The campsite is quiet. I can only recommend it.
