Camping Les Roquilles

We had booked the campsite for 10 days, but left early. The hygiene standards in the sanitary facilities are unacceptable and correspond to the standards of 40 years ago. The only positives about this site are the price and the location. Never again a destination for us on vacation.

Here you can find everything a camper (might) need - all in proper condition (several sanitary buildings distributed across the large site). The fairly sparse collection of younger trees provides little shade. What we missed was a touch of its own flair. This also applies to the sandy beach with the rock groynes, which can be reached via the road with the holiday homes.

We were at the campsite in June for almost 2 weeks. We rented a mobile home, the price was unbeatable. The mobile home was very well furnished, clean, and sufficiently large for two adults and two children. In the mornings, we were woken up by flamingos, breathtaking. The campsite also has a nice pool area with slides and a whirlpool, everything here is clean and well-maintained as well. For the children, there is also a very nice playground, sports areas, e.g. for basketball, and a bouncy castle. My children were thrilled. In the small shop on the campsite, there was everything that was urgently needed; my children could get the baguette or jam in the mornings. It is worth mentioning that the staff at the campsite is especially friendly. Additionally, there is a bar and a snack bar, which we did not use, but it looked great. They had pizza or mussels here, for example. The beach is just a short walk away, just across the street, breathtaking. In the town center of Palavas les Flots, there is much to do and see. In the nearby area, there are many attractions. We can definitely recommend the campsite, especially with children - it’s just right.
