Camping Les Pins (Les Salles-sur-Verdon)

Why this campsite is rated with 4 stars is somewhat unclear. The main advantage of the site is its immediate location by the lake. The site is overall quite tidy with adequately sized pitches even for large motorhomes with electricity and water available at the pitch. The sanitary building somewhat resembles a labyrinth of wooden huts - less would probably be more. Crucial: everything is quite clean. Very friendly (German-speaking) lady at the reception. Baguette service is very pleasant. Value for money is very reasonable.

Very beautiful idyllic campsite just 2 minutes from the lake. You can also reach the town located above the site in just a few minutes, where you can enjoy nice dining. Shopping for essentials is also possible. We were received very very friendly and greeted in German. Our site was very spacious and located in close proximity to the playground, which was great for our son. The sanitary building is not very modern but very practical and always clean. There is also a bathroom for toddlers available. Ideal for us with an infant. In the surrounding area, you can do everything related to water sports and the hiking trails also seem worthwhile. We will come back.

Very nice reception, good service, German-speaking

First of all, the operators and staff were top-notch! Helpful, gave good tips, and friendly. Sanitary facilities super, clean, and well-maintained. Sites nicely arranged, partially separated by hedges. Direct access to the lake, renting canoes possible. Wi-Fi for a small fee. Private access from the site directly to the town through a secured gate. We will come back and thank you very much for the help in finding a doctor.

The place is very well maintained and still in great condition at the end of the session. The sanitary facilities are very clean, only the general hand soap takes some getting used to. What is very bad is that you can't wait anywhere outside of opening hours in front of the place...

Great location, super weather, nice people, blue lake. The place is simply a dream! Very well-kept, partly terraced, many spots with lake view. The owners speak excellent German, are very friendly and helpful. Price is absolutely okay. Very clean and spacious sanitary facilities. Baguette and croissant service. Unfortunately, the campsite closes on 10.10. The lake shore can be reached in 3 minutes and you can walk around it. Kayaks can be rented. Dogs are welcome. I will definitely go back again and again. However, during the summer vacation, one should book. I think then the place will probably be quickly fully booked. A small supermarket is reachable on foot in 5 minutes. So full 5 stars.
