🤝 The campsite is beautifully located, although it is a bit far from supermarkets and attractions. The sanitary facilities are very nice and were always clean during our stay. Salles-Curan is a lovely little town. Pitch/Accommodation: A spacious spot, mostly flat, with water available at the pitch, and our spot was also close to the sanitary building (this does not apply to all camping spots). 👎 Although we knew that the campsite would close on 14/09 - and we were thus in the 'off-season' - it would have been nice if at least the restaurant had been open in the evening and if the takeaway dishes had been available. Additionally, it would be helpful to indicate more clearly that 'takeaway' means that you cannot take the dish immediately, but rather about an hour later. This is useful to know for planning dinner. Pitch/Accommodation: Unfortunately, we did not have very good weather and we only managed to swim in the lake once.

Friendly welcome, well-maintained camping site with modern facilities. Beach set in a calm and preserved setting, suitable for those who enjoy sailing. Location/Rental accommodation: Premium chalet fully equipped. Stylish and spacious. It has everything you need.
Location/Rental accommodation: Good quality mattresses but the bed bases are not up to par (they move, creak...). Equipment like non-stick pans and corkscrews are of average quality, thus not really usable upon our arrival at the end of the season.

We especially loved our time near a lake that we adore. The accommodation is beautifully decorated. It's practical. The bathroom is worthy of an apartment. Spacious. The terrace is superb and very well equipped.

We appreciated: - The well-maintained floral and greenery of the campsite. - The cleanliness and practicality of the sanitary facilities. - The pool with a very acceptable temperature despite the weather conditions. Location/Rental accommodation: Overall good quality
What we appreciated less: - Price of bread and pastries (+50% compared to the bakery in Pont-de-Salars) - Defective planks of the pontoon. - Very poor quality of the BBQ (8 euros/day!!!) with a mediocre "board" that sticks to the food. - Absence of a gravel path to access the Chalet, leading to the systematic bringing of "plant waste" inside. Location/Rental accommodation: Uncomfortable bench. Kitchen space impractical and very limited.

Friendly staff. The lake offers many watersport opportunities. Thanks to the low water level, there is a very spacious beach. It's nice that there isn't music every evening anymore. The evenings are just perfect! Beautiful shower facilities, everything is cleaned several times a day. Pitch/Rental accommodation: A lovely spot right by the lake.
There are currently only 4 toilets, which is very few. From the outside, you cannot tell if the toilet is in use, leading to a lot of pulling at the door. Is it possible to change this? Please place a mirror opposite the camping exit, so that you have a better view of passing traffic. Pitch/Rental accommodation: If you want to promote yourself as a 5-star camping watersport destination, more care should be taken with the jetty. Many planks and screws are currently missing.

The mobile home met the order specifications and the large bed was appreciated, the pool after a day of exploring, the restaurant, the friendliness of the staff, the proximity to the lake. Location/Accommodation: The terrace with chairs and the bar, the barbecue (which we didn't use for our short stay), the large mattress, the large shower, all the necessary kitchenware, cleanliness.
Location/Accommodation: There was a bench on the terrace, but we didn't use it because the cushions were damp; they should be brought inside in the evening.

Camping Les Genêts is located between the large Pareloup reservoir and the impressive Aveyron plateau. It is a perfect holiday destination for water sports enthusiasts and families.
If you love the wet element, the large pitches at Camping Les Genêts are just right for you. The shore of the Pareloup reservoir borders directly on the campsite. Every guest will find the perfect accommodation on the spacious site. There are sunny, semi-shaded and shaded pitches, most of which are separated by hedges. Mobile homes and chalets are also available at Camping Les Genêts. Some of these are located very close to the beach. Children can play freely on the sandy beach. However, there are also wooden walkways for direct access to the water. An inflatable water park provides hours of fun. Pedal boats can also be hired directly at the campsite. The pool area offers an alternative to the natural waters. Pool parties and aqua aerobics are regularly organised at the heated pool. There is also a paddling pool for the little ones. Right next to the pool is the restaurant with a terrace. Theme evenings are organised regularly. There is also a grocery shop on the campsite with a wide range of products. The children's club offers fun and games during the high season. Outdoor fitness equipment invites you to work out in the fresh air. Those who prefer to do sport in company when camping in France will find like-minded people on the multi-sports field. Afterwards, it's often off to the spa, where a whirlpool and sauna provide relaxing moments.
For many, Lake Pareloup is the most beautiful body of water in the Aveyron. From a bird's eye view, it looks a little like the famous lakes in Canada. There are many hidden bays along the 130 kilometres of rugged coastline - ideal places to cast your line. Carp, pike, zander and perch, among others, can be found in the 1,300 ha of water. Within a 10-kilometre radius of Camping Les Genêts, other lakes such as Lac de Villefranche-de-Panat and Lac de la Gourde invite you to take a trip. Cyclists can cycle around the lake of Parelpoup on a 27-kilometre tour. The Aveyron is also a paradise for hikers: the Circuit des Passerelles is 7 kilometres long, leading over footbridges and offering a magnificent view of the Dourdou canyon. A few metres in altitude have to be conquered on the path to the Fontaneilles-Piedes valley, which is just over 10 km long. The trail passes the romantic Pyrelade Castle, which towers over the Tarn. A canoe trip will also leave a lasting impression: several routes set off from Saint-Antonin into the magnificent gorges of the Aveyron. The luxurious Les Genêts campsite on the Pareloup reservoir is perfect for families, water sports enthusiasts and nature lovers. The campsite offers a varied sports and leisure programme for all guests.
