Very central for exploring the region from Saint Malo to Mont Saint Michel, even down to the castle at Fougères, very well placed. The on-site bar and restaurant is good quality, but there are also plenty of nearby options if you want to try different things. And the pool was a lovely way to relax at the end of the day. Pitch/rental accommodation: It is a great cabin - we used it just for a couple, but you would be comfortable with 1-2 children in there as well. Good for self-catering; we cooked in a couple of times with no problems (although you will need to bring your own condiments, oil, salt and pepper etc)

Cons

It is a little close to the main road, but traffic was not too heavy, and that was genuinely our only downside. Pitch/rental accommodation: Some people may find it a little too cosy but we were fine.
