Camping Les Chalets sur la Dordogne

The campsite offers 45 demarcated pitches for holidaymakers on a long, narrow site with dense tree cover. The pitches are pleasantly large, ranging from 110 to 150 m², and offer plenty of shade. Electricity connections with 6 to 10 amps are available.

You are spoilt for choice! The campsite is located directly on the Dordogne river and offers an approximately 25-metre-wide beach for a refreshing dip in the river. There is also a heated outdoor pool with a paddling pool for younger campers.

Thanks to its direct location on the Dordogne, the campsite is a great tip for boaters and water hikers. Since it is very quiet here and there are great offers for children under 12, such as a playground, families also feel completely at home.

Since the campsite is currently not bookable online directly via PiNCAMP, you should keep an eye on the prices in advance. The following cost factors apply:

Arriving by car with a caravan is straightforward, as the campsite is located in Girac and is only about 1 km from the town centre. For the shaded ground under the dense trees, you should pack sturdy pegs. A disposal station for grey water and chemical toilets is available.

You won't go hungry! There is a cosy inn or restaurant as well as a snack bar directly on the campsite. In the morning, you can get fresh rolls via the bread roll service. For larger purchases, there is a grocery store 1.5 km away and a supermarket 2 km away.
