It was great to find a site in mid September where the swimming pool and restaurant are open. Facilities were excellent and clean. We visited the Memorial Museum and Fort Douaumont and would have liked more time to explore some of the other sites locally. Pitch/rental accommodation: Decent sized grass pitch but had heavy rain the night before departure and would have bogged down if we hadn't put the van front wheels on mats.

Friendly staff, good pitches in a perfect location for walking into Verdun and exploring the area. Pitch/rental accommodation: We were in a campervan and the pitch was a good size, near a little lake. We came at the end of September after lots of rain, so some of the pitches were becoming a bit muddy, although this obviously can’t be helped at the end of the season. We were given the option to choose another pitch if we not satisfied (ours was fine).

Friendly welcome and great facilities. Out of season so the pool was closed but we expected that. Bread delivered to site shop each morning. Restaurant and bar on site too - handy after a day out. Lucky to get a lakeside pitch. Very quiet at night. Pitch/rental accommodation: Lakeside pitch was a bonus and all facilities were close by. Pitches nicely spaced. Even after some torrential overnight rain the ground stayed relatively solid.
