The Camargue coastline with its pools of stagnant water called etangs and salt pans is perfect for long walks in the sun. Just a few minutes from Salin-de-Giraud, Piémanson has a 6 km long golden sandy beach. The Piémanson coastline is one of the last unspoilt beaches in France and lies between the mouth of the Rhône and the Beauduc lighthouse. When the mistral wind blows, it is a favourite spot for kitesurfing.
