LEGOLAND Campingplatz

The campsite is located right next to Legoland, which makes visiting it much easier. I wouldn't want to spend a holiday at this campsite, but that's not its purpose either. You spend the whole day in the park and return only to shower and sleep. Nothing more. The washrooms are basic but very clean and well-maintained. The fact that there's only water from a shower head and you have to press the button every 30 seconds is quite annoying, but bearable. It's just rather impractical for showering with kids, and there are no family showers. On the plus side, you can wash and dry for free, which is fantastic. One evening, we booked the jungle buffet. The food was surprisingly good, but the ambiance felt more like a mediocre cafeteria, which I expected more from Legoland; Europa-Park really delivers a different experience.

The campsite is of course not a normal campsite, but a sleeping place for park visitors. The plots are usually rather long, allowing caravans and vehicles to fit in a row. They are rather wide on the sides. Everything is included, and that's great. Electricity, showers, and even washing machine/dryer. Around the holiday village, there are many great playgrounds. We spent 2 days in the park and 2 nights. We paid 59 euros per person for the ticket and camping. What you get for it is fantastic! We will definitely use this again.

We stayed there for two days, each time visiting Legoland. The plots are very functional, elongated, and sufficiently large. Initially, it feels a bit unusual because there is no reception needed. You can drive in with the QR code and also exit later. The sanitary facilities were clean, and there were disposal options available. Good value for money. An ideal overnight spot for Legoland or to explore the surroundings. Of course, it is not particularly suitable for longer stays. We were there with a large caravan and two children.

If the visit to LEGOLAND was not planned, this would not be a place I would drive to. The washroom is well maintained, but there is also someone on site all day to ensure that it is so. The plots are quite nice but mainly consist of gravel. The playgrounds in the holiday village are great. There is a selection of restaurants. And a short way to LEGOLAND.

The campsite is superbly located, right next to the holiday village. From here, it takes about 10 minutes to get to Legoland. You receive a voucher that allows you to drive through the barrier and choose a spot for yourself. It works great and is uncomplicated. The sanitation facilities are very clean and well-maintained. There are vending machines for drinks if needed. Electricity is included. We found the holiday village itself worth the trip. Many great playgrounds. We stayed here for three nights and felt comfortable.

The area is parceled out, and after driving onto the site, you can choose an available parcel for yourself. For showers, camping butler, etc., it's included and quite affordable. The sanitary building is very clean, and there is almost always very friendly and helpful cleaning staff on site. For dinner, you can choose from various restaurants in the holiday village, not very cheap but reasonable. For breakfast, there is a roll sale, priced just okay. Around the site, there are many play opportunities and a Lego store, plus of course Legoland (about 500 m away).

Clean of the highest class. Friendly staff and everything straightforward.

We spent 6 days at the campsite in connection with Legoland and I am very enthusiastic. It was the first time camping for our children, aged 3 and 5, and they found it great, as there are also plenty of play areas even after the park closes. Günzburg is only a few minutes away by car, where there are numerous shopping options. The sanitary facilities are very clean and well-maintained. So everything is highly recommended, we will come back.
