Camping Le Village Parisien

This campsite could be nice if it were better attended and maintained. An advantage for a Parisian is the travel time and the great animations with beautiful shows and top-notch animators. However, for everything else, it's a disaster. In 15 days we experienced 2 thefts (the reception's response was, "the cameras are under maintenance"). There is no wifi, no grocery store, and no bouncy castle. Everyone enters the pool with their shoes on (the footbath is brown). The lifeguards wear flip-flops with socks or even sneakers with socks, and they frequently look at their phones. The general condition of the campsite is deplorable. I went to the laundry on 17/07, and according to the maintenance sheet, the last cleaning was on 03/07. 2 out of 5 machines were broken. The snack bar was expensive and only served halal meat. On the 14.50 euro pizza, we had half a slice of ham scattered.

The area for caravans and motorhomes was very steep compared to the actual campsite. You felt like second-class citizens. The toilets were very far away, just like the V/E. At night, it was inadequately lit or not lit at all. The plots are actually quite sufficient in size, but it is very muddy because there is a river right next to it. The playgrounds and the swimming pool are okay. But hygiene is unfortunately not maintained at all. It feels like a scam. Our spot that we had booked was already occupied, the operator said it didn't matter at all, I should just stand somewhere where I could.

Very focused on mobile homes. We had tremendous difficulties getting our 7.6m caravan to the lower part of the site!
