👍 A lovely campsite, beautifully located with friendly helpful owners. The river may not look very inviting at first glance, but if you find the right spot and the right mindset, it's a great place to relax. We stayed a bit in the offseason and unfortunately missed the "party nights." Pitch/Rental accommodation: Great, clean and tidy. 👎 The pool is heated, though I’m not sure if that’s why the water is at 30 degrees when it’s 35 degrees outside; refreshing is a different matter. It feels like an unnecessary (and not eco-friendly) luxury.... Some locals use the adjacent road as a regular thoroughfare; a few typical French speed bumps would make a big difference. The lunch/dinner menu at the "snack" is delightful. It opens all afternoon starting in July. A small detail: The mayonnaise for the many Dutch visitors could be served in a bottle of good French mayonnaise instead of the annoying sachets, which produce excess plastic...
