Camping Le Roptai is located on the sunny southern side of a densely wooded hill on the edge of the Ardennes. Many of the large pitches in Ave-et-Auffe are bordered by hedges and bushes. On the well-kept site, a 1-hectare forest invites you to relax and go for a walk and in summer the outdoor pool invites you to splash around. In addition to the heated, 18 metre-long pool, there is also a children's pool. Active guests like to meet on the sports field, where volleyball tournaments are organised regularly. There are also football goals and table tennis tables. The youngest holidaymakers can have fun in the two playgrounds. There are 30 marked hiking trails around Ave-et-Auffe with a length of between 3 and 12 kilometres.

Beautiful surroundings, hiking trails, and camping spots. The campsite is well-equipped. Pitch/Hire accommodation: You can't expect much in winter with a little tent. Despite the winter season and plenty of rainfall, our stay was superb. We were extremely pleased with the very large meadow that was exclusively available for us!

We had a lovely stay, back to basics yet comfortable! Beautiful, quiet surroundings with plenty to do! Nice wooden cabins, very simply furnished but with everything you need! Friendly people, who are totally easygoing. In short, a great stay, and we will definitely return!
Campsite/Accommodation: No complaints, just that a bedside lamp by the bunk beds would be nice 😌

Beautiful view of the valley, very quiet, lots of nature, and friendly, helpful owners. Campsite/Accommodation: We find this house for 6 people far too small. We are two and have been renting it for a long weekend in the autumn for several years now, and it is perfect. However, the bathroom is too cramped.
The bathroom is very cramped. Campsite/Accommodation: The toilet flushed very poorly, but the owner didn’t wait to take a look at it.

Nice cozy cabin. Camping in the middle of nature. You can use a campfire and wood for a fee. You can order bread, rolls, and coffee beans the day before. If you are driving, there is a supermarket within 10 km. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Good stay everywhere for the weekend. For longer stays, the mattresses need to be updated.
Better mattress, basic items for cooking (pepper, salt, and oil) Basic coffee supplies (coffee portion and sugar) Only 1 washing machine available Bathroom has poor ventilation Pitch/Rental accommodation: Mattress and the minimum for coffee (a bit of coffee and sugar) and basics for cooking (olive oil, salt, and pepper)
