It is clear that more is being invested in the expensive (rental/purchase) cottages. I wouldn't be surprised if the campsite is halved next year. The swimming pool is outdated, the sanitary facilities are old, the camping pitches are crooked, and at the bottom of the large field, there is a terrible smell of sewage – particularly disgusting is the fact that there is a sewage pump that suggests the drainage from the sanitary building comes out here. That's certainly how it smells. On the first day, the sanitary facilities were dirty; luckily, a good cleaning crew came in on the second day to make it clean. The reception at the front desk by the ladies was absolutely top-notch. Super clear, friendly, and helpful. A plus point is that from the back, you can easily access the forest. The view from the large field is also very beautiful. At the swimming pool, there was often a generator humming nearby, not sure why, maybe not enough electricity? The women’s showers in the cabin were barely sufficient, with no pressure.

Nice is a big word. The view from the pitch over the fields was indeed beautiful.

The website needs updating; there is a pool, but it is in a state of disrepair and no longer in use. The campsite shop was also not operational. The reception hours were poor, especially during a very busy Pentecost weekend.

The option to order drinks and breakfast is missing during the week. This is available on weekends and during holiday months. Pitch/Accommodation: There ought to be one or two additional power points along the side of the sanitary block. Currently, we had to take power from across the road.

Kids are riding around on squads like crazy. Even after being asked to refrain from crossing the playground, they continued with e-scooters and squads. Everything points towards your swimming pool. All emails feature a large picture of your swimming pool. It's huge!!! However, it is mentioned in very small print and is barely findable on your website that it is only open in July and August. Remove the swimming pool pictures! Standplaats/Huuraccommodatie: The ground is very uneven! The best spots are reserved for the expensive wooden houses.

Pros

Thanks to the weather, we had wonderful days. The caravan was clean and, as always, fully equipped. It's a shame that under the new owners, campfires are no longer allowed. The new catering setup looks inviting, and the pizza was delicious! The performance on Saturday was loud, but the musical duo was good and therefore not disturbing in the background. It was nice to still see the familiar face of Valerie at the reception! Pitch/Accommodation: The beds are a bit cramped, but otherwise comfortable, clean, and fully equipped.

A truly wonderful campsite in the heart of nature, close to the Lesse for refreshing. Nice new manager, pleasant bar area. Pitch/Rental Accommodation: Large pitch with electric and water connections nearby, options in shade or sun.

Cons

Few sanitary facilities for the number of campers, pool not open. Stay for one weekend at the end of May, so it wasn't bothersome. The new managers told us that everything will be changed in the coming months.

Pros

A very cozy and large campsite, as tents can be pitched everywhere in the woods, and there are very spacious pitches for caravans (just keep in mind that it’s not flat, it’s quite hilly). The sanitary facilities are great and clean! The bread delivery service is also very convenient. Plus, in the evenings, you can enjoy a drink at the bar, cozy under a large tent. Pitch/Rental accommodation: We stayed in our own caravan with our little dog.

The campground is showing some signs of aging, but they are actively working on it, so it’s not a problem. It's just unfortunate that the pool is empty...
