Camping Sandaya Le Ranolien

Actually a nice campsite, but the accommodation was unacceptable: The walls were full of mold, making it impossible to stay there overnight. The reception could unfortunately only offer to wash the walls once. So we had to cut our holiday short and go home. Since then, I have been arguing with Sandaya about the refund of the costs.

We were on the site for 4 days. The surroundings are worth seeing. The pitches with private sanitation are located on the edge. Behind it is the road within hearing distance. The pitches are uneven and the external washbasins are not covered. The site offers many mobile homes. There are only a few nice pitches. The restaurant is very good. The playgrounds, pump track, football fields, beach volleyball, etc. are great. We did not use the swimming pool. The cocktails at the bar do not taste good. The supermarket has everything you need.

Reception neither friendly nor unfriendly. Spaces are in short supply. 80% mobile homes. The kicker is that you are not allowed to use the outdoor and indoor pool with swim shorts. I was approached by the lifeguard and am not allowed in the water anymore. Only tight-fitting pants are desired.

The campsite is located directly on the Pink Granite Coast, and the GR34 passes right by the site. The campsite is quite large with many mobile homes. In the middle of the site, there is a kind of small village with a supermarket, a bar, a creperie, and a snack bar. There is a great indoor pool, an outdoor pool, and a playground, all integrated into the Pink Granite rocks. In addition, there are several sports fields and a pump track that excited our children. The camping pitches are mostly very large and equipped with direct water connections. Many pitches are quite uneven (definitely pack enough wedges). We had a pitch in the quieter area W. The sanitary building here is quite small and has only 2 toilets and a disabled toilet as well as few showers and washbasins. This is definitely too little for the peak season. The large sanitary building in the middle of the site is significantly larger and also much nicer (including a children's bathroom). Both wash houses were very clean despite the fully booked site and were regularly cleaned. The surroundings are beautiful, but we would never come back here in August. Unfortunately, we are bound by the holidays, and we had also expected it to be very crowded. However, this mass of people shocked us. Huge quantities of tour buses just spit out tourists, and hiking on the beautiful GR34 was impossible due to the crowds in flip-flops. We then drove to quieter spots and enjoyed the peace on the Ile Grande, for example. We can especially recommend the campsite for families with children, but not in the peak season.

A site dominated by mobile homes. Very crowded in mid-June (so off-season). Clean sanitary facilities. Some pitches directly at mobile homes.

Dreamlike location. The pink granite coast goes directly past the campsite. Site modern and very well-maintained. Pool area (slides, steam bath, indoor pool, lifeguard, etc.) top-notch. Kiosk, cinema, shop... Everything available. Good access for caravans. A lot offered for children... Top. Anytime again.

Beautifully located site, right on the Highlight Coast of Ploumanac'h. The GR 34 passes right by the entrance. Super infrastructure, moderate prices in bar/restaurant/supermarket. Great pool area, embedded in the existing granite boulders. Large playground offerings for children; own cinema! Plenty of washing machines + dryers; super friendly staff, F / GB / D!!! Overall, we give it 5 *****, have been there multiple times.

Dream location, top rental accommodation, great facilities for children (up to around 12 years old), although the offerings for teenagers are not as extensive. Everything is very well maintained, even in the biggest hustle and bustle. Very friendly and helpful staff, bar with very affordable prices and nice events, stone oven pizza, fries, crepes, restaurant, even its own cinema!!! Great playground, soccer fields, fitness, table tennis, etc. Beautiful spa with everything a wellness heart desires. Located directly on the GR34, in the midst of the rocks of Ploumanac'h, the -in my opinion- most spectacular coastal section of Brittany ;-) The plentiful red rocks present on the campsite have been incorporated into the design, climbing is encouraged!!!
