Camping Le Port de Plaisance

We were originally only staying for one night and spontaneously stayed for two. The site is beautifully landscaped, the sanitary facilities are super clean and modern (including a baby bathtub). We were there over the weekend and there was a snack van. In short, the tastiest burger in years! Our child was happily occupied with the playground. We were very impressed and can highly recommend the site!

The CP Péronne is ideal as an overnight stop (book online in advance) when traveling from the Ruhr area or the Cologne region. Additionally, the site is located not far from the highway. The barrier is open during the day and one can choose a free spot. The reception opens at 4:30 PM (baguette can be pre-ordered) and check-in can take place officially. The spots are spacious, and all paths are paved/improved. The sanitary facilities were clean and good. The site has playground equipment and the swimming pool invites you to cool off. The staff was also very friendly, and in the small campsite pub, there are reasonably priced various draft beers and other drinks. The area is located in the frontline of the First World War and those interested can explore the old fortifications in Péronne at the museum. The Somme is certainly also very interesting for canoeists and kayakers.

We made a spontaneous overnight stop at this campsite. After an email inquiry, there was a prompt booking confirmation. The campsite is very clean and the sanitary facilities are modern. The site features a volleyball net and a small playground. The pool on the premises was still closed. You can order croissants and baguettes for the next day, and there is a small bar. The service was outstanding. The owners are extremely accommodating. We would be happy to return.

We were there for 4 nights. A relatively small but very nice place. The sanitary facilities are new and are cleaned daily, sometimes several times. Very nice staff. The city center is within walking distance. Beautiful bike paths along the Somme. We enjoyed it a lot.

Very nice campsite, sanitary facilities are clean but very basic (partially in need of renovation), excellent opportunity for cycling tours along the Somme directly from the site, well signposted, very suitable for a stopover, very friendly staff, immediate assistance with all questions and problems, fresh bread, croissants, baguettes available at the campsite (with pre-order) - light noise disturbance possible from Canal du Nord Large pitches, divided, sufficient privacy

Orderly clean place perfect for overnight stays. Friendly staff.
