Divided into a new nature-oriented part and an older part where the only noticeable aspect is the sanitary facilities. Two swimming areas and super amenities. Lots of fun for the kids and peace in the natural area. Recommended

We were with four children and a dog at this campsite, in the "Sensations" area. The pitch was right next to the pool, so you were "live" right there - thanks to the strict adherence to quiet hours, this was not a real problem for us. The pitch was one of the smaller ones available there, yet still large enough for our big camper with awning and car - the only thing we couldn't fit was a sunshade in front of the awning. Other pitches were quite a bit larger. The site is also accessible with a larger rig. The entire facility is excellently maintained, quite large, and offers many options for every taste - mainly aimed at families with children. The sanitary facilities were also top-notch, well-kept and well-designed. For dog owners, there is relatively little on the site; however, there is a large meadow in front of the campsite and adjacent wooded areas where you can already take a walk. Noteworthy is also Lac du Jaunay, a reservoir that can be easily reached by foot from the campsite. Due to the drought, the lake was quite low this year, and the water was green and algae-covered, yet still suitable for stand-up paddling and swimming. On the grounds, there are two pool areas, one with slides and therefore kids' action, and the other more in the style of a classic swimming pool and somewhat quieter. However, the slides are also fun for adults ;) There is a small shop that is fairly well-stocked - however, the prices are higher than at a normal supermarket. We really enjoyed our stay. Improvements could be made to the small snack bar and the Wi-Fi. The snack bar offers only mediocre quality for relatively high prices, and the Wi-Fi was often miserable to non-existent - frustrating, as it is supposed to cost a lot aside from the one "free device". It’s best to check in advance at the pitch whether you can even use the Wi-Fi - fair to say that the staff makes exactly this suggestion at check-in.

We stayed in the Nature & Sens area at this site. The facilities are excellent. The showers and toilets are modern and spotless. The swimming pool and wellness areas were outstanding. We took our bicycles and rode to Coex for shopping, Bretignolles sur Mer, and St. Gillies. Ideal for cycling tours as it is so flat.

Camping Le Pin Parasol leaves nothing to be desired for young and old alike. Children and teenagers especially love the 2,500 square metre Aquafun Park with a total of five heated pools and five water slides. Experienced swimmers will appreciate the 50 metre-long swimming channel. Those who prefer a quieter experience can relax in the balneotherapy area. The marvellous surroundings are ideal for excursions into nature and to the beaches of the Vendée.
The exceptional location between the marvellous natural landscape of the Vendée and the Atlantic Ocean makes Camping Le Pin Parasol in the municipality of La Chapelle-Hermier something special. The family campsite near the French west coast offers a total of 184 parcelled grass pitches, which are generously sized and protected by hedges. The campsite is divided into two areas: the Sensations neighbourhood and the Nature-et-Sens neighbourhood. There is direct access to Lac du Jaunay. You can go canoeing, kayaking, pedal boating or stand-up paddling on the lake. Fishing and sailing are also possible. Young and old can let off steam here and make new friends. Those looking for peace and relaxation will find it in the extensive nature reserve around the campsite or in the exclusive wellness area. In addition to the whirlpool, hammam and sauna, there is also a beauty salon with facial treatments, hairdressing, modelling, massages and manicures. In addition to the pool area and many sports activities, the campsite offers multilingual children's entertainment, for example for Club Kids aged 5 to 7. Children can dance together, do arts and crafts, play outdoors or go on a treasure hunt. In the evenings, there is an entertainment programme for the whole family, with the emphasis on socialising. There are also five sanitary facilities, a camper van disposal station, a launderette, a snack bar and a grocery shop.
It is only around 10 kilometres from Le Pin Parasol campsite to the beautiful sandy beaches on the Atlantic. Excursion destinations on the coast include the charming towns of Bretignolles-sur-Mer and Olonne-sur-Mer, while La Roche-sur-Yon, the capital of the Vendée, awaits in the countryside. Popular sights include the Île d'Yeu, an island off the coast with a wild and romantic landscape, a medieval castle and fantastic beaches. The Parc des Dunes in Brem-sur-Mer is a huge adventure park for the whole family. Here, young and old can swim and play to their heart's content. Guests appreciate the good value for money. Puy du Fou in the heart of the Vendée is a different kind of theme park. The historical theme park in Les Epesses is one of the most popular theme parks in France.
