Beautiful Place
The campsite is beautifully green, the sanitation facilities are super clean, large, and there are family cabins with children's showers + toilets for small children. There is access to the beautiful beach. And for children, the paddling pool and the slides are fantastic!! Everything has been though… More

Beautiful campsite with limited pitches
Since we arrived without a reservation, we only got one spot directly by the pool/entertainment area for the evening. Sleeping before 11 PM or 12 AM was out of the question. Otherwise, the pitches were surrounded by bushes and trees, which provided a lot of privacy but made parking very difficult. T… More

Direct access to the sea
Visually appealing campsite with beautifully designed sanitary buildings (child-friendly with giraffe showers, Indian boats as baby bathtubs). It's great that soap and paper towels were always available on site. Nice pool area, which feels crowded quickly. In the back area, there is a petting zoo, … More

Close to the Water, Close to Culture
The site offers, especially in the rear part, a direct access to the beach, where you can go right to the guarded textile beach and left to a long peninsula, where nudism is also permitted. The site has tall and sometimes dense trees that provide a lot of shade, but with a cloudy sky can also create… More

Summer 2018
Plenty of shade, very clean, great pool area, direct access to the sea. During the day, the flight noise is a bit disturbing. One day, a yellow propeller plane thundered over the area and the place at about 100 to 150 meters at 7:15 AM, and after that, sleep was out of the question. The campsite ma… More

Very well-kept campsite. French is spoken, and at the reception, also English and German. Unfortunately, the entertainment is only in French. Otherwise, a great campsite, would definitely return.

Large parking spaces, unfortunately partly very difficult to reach. Large, sometimes too high hedges and bushes, making the parking space very dark and unkempt. New, nice sanitary building with handbasins in the toilets with soap and paper towels! CLASS! Unfortunately, toilets without paper and with… More

Direct access to the beach, everything within short distances, good and partly brand new sanitary facilities. Beautiful pool area...the plots are partly covered with leaves and blossom debris due to the … More

On the French Mediterranean coast, Camping Le Palais de la Mer invites families to enjoy an active camping holiday by the sea. Nestled in the green Languedoc countryside, the campsite will win you over with its proximity to the beach and its varied leisure activities, which are aimed at sports enthusiasts of all ages as well as children in particular.
Just a few kilometres from Perpignan, Camping Le Palais de la Mer is located in a wooded area with direct access to the fine sandy Mediterranean beach. There are 111 pitches of various sizes under shady trees, each with a water connection. Pitches in the comfort category also have an electricity connection. Use of the sanitary facilities is included, while a fee is charged for access to the Wi-Fi network. Dogs are also permitted for a fee. In addition to the pitches, there are various bungalows, mobile homes and flats to choose from. Around the campsite, a wide range of leisure activities promise entertaining hours for the whole family. The centrepiece is the pool complex with water slides and pools for children and adults. Sports enthusiasts can compete in tennis, volleyball or table tennis or take part in the fitness courses in the entertainment programme. Children can enjoy playgrounds, a mini club with children's disco and a mini farm where they can marvel at horses, llamas and exotic birds. Those looking for relaxation, on the other hand, can recharge their batteries in the wellness area with steam bath and whirlpool. Culinary delights are provided by the La Payotte restaurant with a terrace by the pool, which serves local and international dishes - also to take away on request. Themed evenings and a bar complete the offer. The L'Embuscade pub also hosts concerts in a cosy atmosphere on selected evenings. Freshly baked goods, groceries and snacks are also available in the on-site shop, as are various beach items.
Camping Le Palais de la Mer is an ideal starting point for active holidaymakers who want to combine beach holidays with hikes in the countryside. Popular destinations include the wine-growing regions of Languedoc, the Narbonnaise en Méditerranée nature park and the nearby Pyrenees. Culture lovers should visit the tranquil town of Sainte-Marie or Perpignan, around 15 kilometres away, whose old town is packed with sights such as the Palace of the Kings of Majorca from the 13th century and Saint-Jean-Baptiste Cathedral from the 14th to 16th centuries. The historic cities of Narbonne and Carcassonne can also be visited as part of a day trip. Families are drawn to the Fantassia theme park in Théza or the canyoning park in Argelès-sur-Mer.
