Camping Le Mouretou is located at the foot of Mont Aigoual in the heart of the Cévennes National Park. The site in Val-d'Aigoual was chosen as a UNESCO ambassador to help preserve regional biodiversity and customs. Among other things, guests can take part in the traditional cattle drive. Holidaymakers can splash around at the natural swimming area on the River Hérault or discover the magnificent landscape of Val-d'Aigoual by canoe. There is also a heated outdoor pool. The pitches are shaded by poplar, birch, mulberry and chestnut trees. The campsite also has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine: Holidaymakers can sample regional specialities in the restaurant. Local delicacies such as Péladon goat's cheese, honey, onions and other products are available in the shop.

The campsite is very well managed by the owners and is excellently equipped. You can sense a strong commitment to making our stay as pleasant as possible. The restaurant is welcoming, simple, but good. Well situated to explore the Cevennes, we will definitely return. Location/Accommodation: Well-defined, well-maintained, and shaded plot.

A place to recharge in complete simplicity. Very affordable in terms of pricing. Facilities are more than decent for a 3*. Sanitation facilities are very well maintained and seem almost new (only a lack of handwashing soap in the dispensers). The pool is also very nice. Location/Accommodation: Simplicity, a bit of comfort for disconnecting is perfect, with a small equipment to eat (cold) on site and a useful kettle for tea!
A bit of shade is missing around the pool. Location/Accommodation: There are a few too many flies, but it's manageable, not unbearable! No mosquitoes during our stay.

Discovering the "Canada Trek" tent was a wonderful moment with my 6-year-old nephew. The campsite is very clean and family-friendly. The welcome is truly warm. Location/Rental accommodation: Pleasantly surprised, there's even a small fridge, a drying rack, and power outlets. The duvets and blankets are provided, which is convenient. And we weren't cold. Ready to come back 😃
