Camping Le Moulin (Patornay)

🤝 The location is great by the river and especially beautiful with many old trees! The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is very clean. The swimming pools are excellent, sauna and steam bath warm up in cooler weather. There is entertainment for the little ones and the older ones (one must be prepared for the noise level during the holiday season), lovely playground. This is a meeting point in the evenings for (very loud) teens. Here’s my critique: it should be quiet after 10:00 PM, that didn’t work!! Only around 11:00 PM was there silence! That was very annoying. Nevertheless, we will come back!! Pitch/Rental accommodation: The location by the river, the size of the site, the seating. 👎 More attention should be paid to ensuring that nighttime peace is maintained at the playground. I want the teens to have fun, but after 10:00 PM, the screaming should really stop!

👏 Camping is located by the Ain river. Next to a rapid. Quietly located campsite. Well-maintained. Dog friendly. Very calm in the offseason. Staff speak French and English. There is plenty to do in the area, but you have to get around by car. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Neat mobile home. We were two people, and for that, the space was good. I would find it very cramped at 5/6 people. The covered veranda can be closed with shutters. Very handy if you have a dog, then you can easily secure the stairs. Air conditioning and heating are available, and for luxury, a dishwasher.

👍 Great stay, top camping, beautiful area. Location/Rental accommodation: Just what we needed. Well located. Only downside, we couldn't park the car next to it because some tiles on the wall were about to fall off, but we managed to park on the volleyball court. 👎 For the hammam and sauna, there were many children present. Too bad! Location/Rental accommodation: It was difficult to regulate the hot water, especially in the shower.

👍 We spent 5 very pleasant days at this campsite. The services offered are numerous and of high quality. The pools are a real plus, as is the welcome from the staff, which is really warm. We were in a mobile home, very well furnished and comfortable. This campsite is ideal for families, the children loved the varied and interesting entertainment. We will definitely come back! Location/Rental Accommodation: The mobile home was really very well arranged, clean, comfortable, and functional. Everything was set up for a pleasant family stay. 👎 The only small drawback: our location was quite noisy in the evening as it was close to the restrooms and the playground.
