We loved the vibe of this campsite. Off the beaten track, peaceful, idyllic and friendly. The facilities were impeccably maintained and Remy was welcoming and approachable. We had a great pitch by the river with a lovely view of the surrounding mountains and castle. Boyne Appetite (just a 5 minute walk away) was a huge bonus as we could pick up fresh pastries and bread in the mornings and delicious burgers at the weekend. The other campers were friendly and respectful. Other bonuses included the campsite bar and free use of the canoes :) Pitch/rental accommodation: We loved our pitch, we had a great view of the river, lots of sun and lots of space to put up both our main tent, another little tent, as well as the car.

We had reserved for 4 nights, but we are still at this lovely campsite. About 38 years ago we also stayed at this campsite. We already had wonderful memories of this place and the village of Boyne back then. Everything radiates peace, space, and a very relaxed atmosphere. Furthermore, the beautiful nature and surroundings provide everything you need for a nice vacation. Over the past 40 years, the campsite has become much more professional. There is a nice bar by the pétanque court. There is electricity and Wi-Fi everywhere. But in terms of atmosphere, the campsite feels as it did back then..
