Scenically located, quiet campsite. Uzès can be reached in an hour via a very nice hiking trail. The grounds are nicely divided, with lots of old trees and hedges. Sanitary facilities are basic and mostly clean. Occasionally, soap was missing in the dispensers, and the cleaning staff was "quick through." Overall, a clear recommendation for lovers of small, nature-oriented, and quiet places. Note: we were here in early May 22.

Huge Campsites in a Quiet Location

Camping Le Mas de Rey impresses with huge campsites and clean sanitary facilities. There is no shop, but baked goods can be ordered for the next morning. A 3.5 km walk through the fields separates the campsite from the picturesque town of Uzès, which can also be easily hitchhiked back. Pool, climbing course, barbecue area, and playgrounds complete the overall package. For the second time, we feel perfectly at home here and will definitely come back.
