Lovely pitches right next to the river with easy access for SUPs and swimming. Rosalie and her family and helpers are all very friendly and welcoming, and the site has great showers and other facilities. The 22m swimming pool is a very good size for a campsite and we also made quite a lot of use of the table tennis table. Bread and other patisserie items ordering via their app was excellent, and with luck and patience catfish and other fish can be seen in the river. Pitch/rental accommodation: We had three couples on three adjoining pitches with lots of space for our tents and also for eating together outside on the pitches. Being able to sit at the top of the river bank watching the sunset over the river is awesome.

An idealic place to relax next to the lazy Lot. The campsite is spotless, pool a pleasure to dip into, to cool down or slip into the Lot for a wonderful swim in nature. Definitely a fishing paradise too. Pitch/rental accommodation: How wonderful to he able to camp right on the bank of the River Lot. Stunning sunsets and you feels complete immersed in nature.
Cons
Had an issue with our European electricity plug in unit not matching the extension we needed to borrow. Not a big issue but left us with less points to connect. Never had that problem before . Pitch/rental accommodation: Our pitch was very hard and stoney making it difficult to pitch our tent. You may need heavy duty pegs (which we had) and extra layers/carpet inside tent for those sharp stone edges.
